Muka cast her spell the instant hat Wamu made contact with the tree spirit. With her help, Wamu's shell of fire was able to cause the beast to be felled in one attack. And with that, the giant burning hunk of wood fell to the ground with Wamu riding it. It was quite an impresive sight.
Quickly, she moved closer to it but was unable to see Wamu through all the dying flames and smoke.

The flames quickly died down and the pieces of armour had also cooled down enough to be picked up, but not enough to be wore. Wamu slowly placed his Deer Horn Knieves away and the flames encasing his body disappeared. And with that, he placed the armour pieces in his bag and headed towards Muka. He could just make out her shape through all the smoke.

As the smoke cleared, the pair found each other and embraced. Looking off into the distance, Wamu tried to figure out how to get off this island. Yet, not knowing much about the island made it much harder.
Looking a Muka, as they walked closer to the water's edge, Wamu knew why he had risked his life. It was for her. Looking back at him, Muka tried to figure out what was going through his head.

The ship came into view of the island as squirm ran above deck and the captain looked back at the group just as the clouds cleared and the huge mountain kujaku could be seen towering overhead lined by the dense jungle below it .it was in impressive site more so than he remembered but it still carried a foreboding look about it.
"Prepare to way anchor, you’ll have to take a sail boat from here on in. my destination lies a little further on."
squirm nodded and went to untie the boat carefully lowering it to the water for everyone to jump in. the captain smoked his pipe as he looked on.
"be careful out there, your probably a group who can take care of themselves, but there are dark things that lurk in this place. be warned"

Cynn watched the boat get lowered and climbed up to the edge of the boat and looked at the captain. "Captain, Its been a pleasure. But I've payed my debt and more so I'm going with them. You know being cooped up on this boat isnt healthy for me so I take my leave of you." She bowed to the captain. As she came up her eyes flashed an ice cold blue. "I hope we meet one day soon" she said, before jumping backwards into the sailing boat below with the others.

once nightmare jumped in the boat was lowered down and the captain gave a farewell nodded still looking rather grumpy and turned the boat away from the island as squirm lifted the oars and began to row. already looking at the shore a sinister feeling fell over him but he continued not dwelling on it.
the sounds of strange noises and unusual moans could be heard echoing through the forest and as he paddle the boat he couldn’t help feel a chill run up his spine. He didn’t understand it, it was just like the jungle, ferocious beast and vicious creatures, but for some reason it was different and had a presence about it squirm just didn’t like.
as the boat landed on shore he stepped out staring of and grasping his spear, he put on a brave face as he waited for the others and looked on but deep down you could tell he was scared.

Standing on the edge of a cliff over looking the shore, Wamu started to think of those things he had lost along the way- his friends. That small rag tag group of adventures comprising of Squirm, Chey and Nightmare. It was one thing he had really missed in the year he sent in the Kitsune village.
Squirm's smell. Nightmare's canine properties and Chey's humour. Those three almost were the thing she cared about the most. But as Muka stood beside him, he knew what he cared about more.
"So, where are we off to now?" Muka asked as she look out to sea with Wamu.
Slowly reaching over his shoulder, Wamu read the book and thought. Yet like always it made little sense. But something about your knieves lighting the way to the land of living statues. So, placing the book back in his bag and grabbing his new armour pieces, Wamu set about lighting his way.
Carefully he placed the boots and gaunlets on and almost instantly he felt a power boost. He felt stronger and faster. But that is not what he was trying to do. So, he reached for his Deer Horn Knieves and held them infront of himself.
"I would shield your eyes, Muka. I think there is going to be a light explosion."
Once, she had shielded her eyes, Wamu said the inscription and a great beam of light shot from his body. It pointed out to the south west from where he was. Man, if only he knew how to do half the things these knieves could do there would be no stopping him.

as squirm tried to shake of the feeling he turned to the others with a grin.
"lets get started."
before squirm had time to think a great ray of light shot from high up in the forest canopy shooting past them and off in the distance, he couldn’t imagine what it was but there was something familiar about it he just couldn’t put his finger on. the magic seemed like something he had seen before.
he twisted around to the others staring at them with the strange shocked expression.
"we should go find out what that was."

"Right!" Yarshe smiled, trying to make Squirm feel better by smiling. She could feel him being scared even though he had a brave face. In fact, she was a little scared too. How silly this all was! All hiding your true feelings, how pathetic. Yarshe scowled at the pendent's comment. However it gave her more confidence to find what made that bright light and she marched ahead of Squirm, Nightmare, and Cynn. A few steps later she stopped, not really wanting to lead. sweatdrop

Cynn noted Yarshe's stop and walked ahead of her, taking the lead. She didn't know what the light was meant to do, but if it was to lead them there, it was doing that. "Does anyone think this could be a trap?" she asked, hearing noises of monsters around.

Nightmare got out of the boat and looked around at the forest, He smelt something disturbing in the air but shoke it to the back of his mind as he came to stand between Yarshe and Squirm.
"Yes a trap it could be, or something else. But there sure is only one way to find out."
With that Nightmare walked ahead of Yarshe, his eyes always darting to the shrubs either side of them.

squirm followed quickly behind but for some reason he feared this new threat less than the forest as if it was familiar. as he watched nightmare walk ahead squirm followed behind the group wearily and still fearful. as the group walked into the forest it all felt weird on like his jungle the trees were to close together and not large enough.
He trekked on seeing how brave nightmare was and how nervous he had become then suddenly he heard the snapping of tree branches and a large creature suddenly sprang from the tree line as if sprouting from the ground, its size was immense. A huge being towering overhead with a large club. Its breath foul and face gruesome. It was an ogre. Squirm stood frozen, why couldn’t he move and the creature leered at them then bellowed shaking the forest around them.

Nightmare spun around quickly as he heard the noise. His nails sprung out as he looked at the beast.
It was worse then ugly, Nightmare screwed up his nose at the smell of the beasts foul stench. It was sickening. Poised Nightmare stood, hoping that it wouldnt engage in combate, but sensed that it would.

((will be absent tomorrow and possibly Tues. ^^ tots, buddies))
Yarshe covered her nose, sickened by the smell. She watched the ogre warily, not really wanting to get in a fight with something so big....but why was Squirm so....immobilized?
