I would say more, but...
Anyways, we're talking about character names. I'm trying to come up with a character for a new story. I think I'm leaning towards Amelia. Don't know why, it just seemed to fit. And her friends would call her Amy or Ames.
Also, I think her last name's going to be Glenwood or something. The boy doesn't have a name yet (I never like the male names I come up with...)/

Sachi_x Hey, guys, we're not debating politics here. I really don't want a flame war or anything to start.... Talk about anything, but when touchy topics like religion and polotics are concerned, I'm going to have to draw the mark. I do appreciate that. It always starts fights. I didnt want to bring my personal politics into it in the first place. I just wanted to hint that he should back off a little on the political assumptions. It just escalated from there. (Not justifying my opinion! Take this in the way of my apology to the guild that it got from there to here. I didnt think it would blow up like it has.)

Ah, it's fine! I didn't mean like that (with justifying... I just don't want stuff like "Well, they started it! They're being a pigheaded doofus!" and "I'm not! You started it, and you're beliefs are stupid! THIS is better, because of blah blah blah, and your idea has issues because of bleh..." xd I doubt it's ever going to get like that, but you get the idea... ).

If I did insult you, I am sorry. It is my fault the argument started in the first place. I just want to say one thing that does not defend my action, but my dad's. It was just a joke. (Now you see why the argument was my fault in the first place.)
I'm relaxed now, and I'm hope ya'll are too. Sachi is right, politics are for the off-topic forum.

I'm still thinking on it. Sometimes a thread can seem harmless enough, but completely blow up and pit those who would normally be friends against each other. I've seen it happen on other forums, so I'm just being careful, I guess.
Any other opinions?

I'm not saying enemies in place of friends is a good thing; I'm saying that we all should have a choice wheather or not to hold grudges and become enemies. Most enemies are made because of grudges against others and their beliefs in place of respect for them and their beliefs. If you show people with opposing beliefs respect you can be friends with them in spite of that. If we do hold that grudge and become enemies that is our fault and a black spot on our souls, not a black spot on this guild or anyone else in the guild. However, you are the Guildmaster and you have the final say.

Good points; all valid.
But I'm not sure.. We are here to write, not stir up debating. It just seems like it could easily grow out of proportion. And also, only being online, things are often interpereted wrong. There's no hinting body language, continued conversation (in-person span over minutes, our's take days sometimes to get one reply), etc.
*shrug* Still thinking.

Like I said, still thinking. I'll get back to you, and maybe get some more opinions. If a lot of people are in favor of it, we can try. If it gets too out of hand, though, I'll have to reinstate the rule.
But you guys are mods (and really helped when we were making this, especially Stripe with the money--thank you! I know, I still owe you sweatdrop ), so seriously, give me opinions. Just because I ended up leader doesn't mean I have all this "power" over everyone; we're a community, right?
