ice_illusion Nebelstern Gaulia That's what I thought it was. Who's had to use the plural of mongoose anyway? People who...er...catch mongeese? sweatdrop They would bite you. Maybe a zookeeper. "Yep, just off to feed the mongoose and his friends" Mongeese, if they are as vicious as you suggest, would have no friends. Unless they forced them to be friends like Hitler did...

Nebelstern Gaulia Nebelstern Gaulia Nebelstern Gaulia Nebelstern Gaulia Nebelstern Gaulia Nebelstern You are ALL missing the point of the metaphorical depth it all implies!!
Gah, never mind... sweatdrop No, I know what you mean. It's just another one of these things which, even if people DID understand what you meant, would just be debated for five posts and then go horrible off topic. So why not just cut out the middle man and go off topic?! Yes indeedy. Very true and well observed. What could we talk about then?I suppose the 'ol white text should kick in an appearance right about now as well...Spatulas. Is that the correct plural of spatula? Spatular? Damnit.. Why of course! I nearly forgot about the white text.. Spatuli? I thought it was spatulas... sweatdrop Spatulas?!? That was the best you could do?!?Well, it could be spatulae.. xd I'm sorry, why don't YOU come up with something better?! Still, remember the Moomins? rolleyes Alright then! I will!!I hate the moomins. neutral Well, you didn't. I did too. They scared me... sad How about you try then? You whimp. So, uh, isn't the weather nice? I already DID try. I thought that spatulae was perfectly gripping conversation.. Weather?!? Bloody weather?!? xd Fine! We talk about spatulae, considering it was marginally better than the Moomins. I dislike both.SIMON! That conversation only started a few mins after I told you how Gaulia was pretty. Pfft...shallowness..

Well their companions then. Or family. It was the first word I could think of while avoiding the plural of mongoose.

Beautiful weather today, what is the exam? And yes, it was supposed to sound suggestive. Indeed, nearly explicit in it's meaning.

Yes, do tell. Well, practically anything can be suggestive in context...

Though you dont make it sound like you are going to need it. And *checks watch* you have probably already done it anyway.

Well, as it was a Certificate in preparation for working life, it was mainly about utterly pointless things, such as hazard checks and payment at work...etc...
They also managed to find uses for the name 'Wilf' (male or female?) and had a question that was frankly patronising to my english-ability: -
"Dawn has so much money, I am sooo ENVIOUS of her..."
"Yes, I share your ENVIOUSNESS wholeheartedly..."
Which emotion are these friends discussing?
Hate? ENVY? Pity? or Love?
...
Or practically similar to that. stare
