At the moment I'm limited to watching whatever is on tv. With only a dial-up connection and no highspeed options available, downloading anime just isn't an option.

Right now there's a show playing called DICE.
It's about a group of kids in transforming battlesuits who ride vehicles that transform into robot dinosaurs. It's had a few entertaining episodes, there's really only one thing that bothers me about the series and that because every two seconds, the kids blurt out "G.T.R!" I have no idea what GTR means, but I have another wonderful three letter acronym in response to it, WTF!?

Does anyone really know the story behind this "G.T.R."? It seems to be a response to the equivalent of a "yes, sir!" but why not just say, "yes, sir"?

What else? OH YEAH! MEGAS XLR!!!! Except all the episodes now are repeats, that show was friggin' hilarious when I first started watching it. I still enjoy it and the idea is really fresh. But now it's gotten a little predictable and boring. It needs something new to liven up the blend again. It's still a friggin' awesome show, though.

I can't get into the new Transformers "Cybertron" series. It's not as cool as G1. I like to see my robots blown up and damaged. I don't see enough laser damage being dealt on the new series.

I finished watching Gundam Seed. That one was pretty enjoyable for me. I liked it better than Wing. Seed was fun like episodes of 0083 and X I was able to watch a few years ago.

I'd love to see the Big O get imported to Canada. It looks pretty good.
I'd also like to see the classic super robots re-aired on Canadian television. As long as they get some good voice acting. Knights of the Zodiac was a disaster when cartoon network poisoned it with poor voice acting and heavy video editing. I've watched Saint Seiya in japanese and spanish. It really IS a great show when the drama and emotion isn't fearfully hidden by cowardly dubbers/syndicators. I'm just mentioning that because super robot shows rely A LOT on the voice actor's range of emotion to make the show captivating. Without emotion it's not entertaining.

Really, Megas XLR got boring after awhile. while DICE isn't nessacarly bad its not neesacarily great either. All the charecters in that show are cliched. Though the only charecter I do like from it is Phantom Knight...

Still in the middle of Zeta Gunda, yeah I know I've been on it for quite awhile now. Gonna start on the Original Gundam series once I'm done with Zeta.

Right now I'm waiting for the 3rd volume of the New Getta Robo to come in from Right Stuf(among other titles). Once I finish up with that series I plan on trying the new Tetsuijin 28 DVDs.

I'm also pondering if I should give the Steam Detectives manga a go or not. I mean I loved the anime & all but I dunno.

Wait! New Tetsujin 28 dvds? Are you talking about the blue one from the eighties? or is it a new animation project?

I've been looking for the dvd collection to the 80's version but with no success.

Started the original Gundam and I liked it, despite its age I really, really enjoyed it. As for new anime, I got Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.

New one. Noticed the ad in my Right Stuf catalog the other day(they also have the soundtrack available too).

I WISH there was an 80's collection! I hear it wasn't popular in Japan but I liked it better than the original myself. Blue Jaguar rocked.

Well, a New 28 is worth my while for checking out. I prefered the 80's series to the original too. I never got the chance to watch FX, though.

I really should look into the new Tetsujin 28 series.

It just makes me wish for Tetsujin 28, Giant Robo, and Big O to have a combination attack in an SRW...

Always wanted to see Tetsujin 28 FX...the idea of that kid growing up & having a son to follow in his footsteps sounds too cool.

I Just started watching the Original Mobile Suit gundam. And I'm really enjoying it, despite the age. And I started watching Maburaho, I liked it as well it has a lot of comedy value to it that and its one of the few magical girl/romance animes that I like, definitly gonna have to get it on DVD.

Aside from already wanting Maburaho, the next DVDs on my list are Might Gane and Original Getter Robo.
