Still recovering from the last attack, Protoman was still unguarded. Understanding the zeal of SirRob, yet deciding whether to destroy his self-confedence or not. Protoman still made no movement, to only attempt to dodge when it was too late and the katana thrusted through his left arm.

Rob took a step back, as he pulled his blood stained katana out. "P-Proto!?" His paniked look soon vanished as he realized Proto was holding back. He smirked, and kept on the attack. Heh, what does it matter to me if he holds back, a wins a win! "Take this! Darkness Daggers with Connection Flame!" Rob shot about a dozen of tiny daggers of dark matter as well as a small flame at Proto. The flame spread through every single dagger as they continued to hurtle towards Proto. He jumped into the air, and drew his right katana.

Matt watched from the side. This was NOT the SirRob he knew. "You liar! Proto's not obnoxious, you are!"

Rob was about to throw his right katana at Proto when he heard Matt. He choked, and teleported towards him. He quickly covered Matt's mouth with dark matter and whispered to him. "What are you doing? Are you trying to ruin everything? Are you going to ruin my last resort?"

"I... is he trying to fight me, or kill me?" Protoman says as he sees the flurry of the daggers. This rivalry has gone on long enough. Why doesn't he realize what the purpose behind self-defeat is. Suddenly, Protoman is taken into a flashback of his old master taking blows from him when he was too but a lad.
"I wanna defeat you in a spar, no matter what it takes!" said the young lad of about 13.
"And what purpose would it serve that another spar has been fought? This day I may die from your own ambition. Do not let anyone else let themselves be a martyr to 'save the world'. The only one who can it the one who has the courage to step up, remember my words..."
The battle continued as Protoman used powerful blow after powerful blow, and his master, unable to defend because his heart pulled him back.
Protoman returned back to reality and the daggers were less than a foot away, still speeding, it was though time had stopped. "Is... this what you want?" he says as his bad arm was completely unusable with cuts as deep as the bone.

SirRob Rob was about to throw his right katana at Proto when he heard Matt. He choked, and teleported towards him. He quickly covered Matt's mouth with dark matter and whispered to him. "What are you doing? Are you trying to ruin everything? Are you going to ruin my last resort?" Matt threw him down. "I don't care! From now on I'm with Proto!" He made a barrier around proto, then Matt's fists turned to fire. "DOUBLE DEUCE!!" Matt cried, punching rapidly at Rob.

When the barrier formed, he felt the heat of the dark matter about to strike him. "Who saved me?" he says blinking as though something were suspicious.

"!!!" Rob was hit by a few of the blows before he reacted. "Shadow Supernova!" A small sheild of incredible power knocked Matt back as Rob stood back up. The sheild disappeared, and Rob frowned. "Matt, things aren't what they seem now, just trust me... Run as far as you can Matt, I see you've stabbed me in the back, now go." He looked at Protoman, his arm severly wounded. "Why aren't you fighting back, Proto? Why are you holding back? This will be our last battle, Proto. I want you to go all out on me, and maybe when you see what new spells I've learned, you'll reconsider your leaving."

Protoman laughed at Rob, "Guess what? You made no sence. Our purpose was to save our planet. Fighting among one another, conflict. It makes no sence." Protoman walked up to SirRob. "Quit making me suffer, your ambition is just as mine was at your age." Protoman grabbed with his good arm, the end of one of Rob's katanas and pointed it to his chest. "End it now."

Rob closed his eyes taking the attacks. "It matters not what your ambitions were, but if you still think you're going to leave without letting me defeat you, I'll continue to fight. I still have one more spell I can use without damaging myself."
