I'd wanna be something pretty and extravagant even if they're hard.. ^^; Really any character from FY like a priestess, Soi, Subaru or a celestial maiden from Ceres... even someone from Alice 19th.. maybe like Mayura or someone.. Anything fun an' simple would be nice too.
There's so many characters I like I wouldn't be able to choose.. XD

The Manda Takiko-chan The Manda Actually... depending on which Miaka costume you do it varies in difficulty. Miaka's school uniform is simple, as are some of the clothes she wears during the manga/anime series. Now if you do like an artbook outfit then you're going up in difficulty. She was talking about Miaka's pristess robes. sweatdrop I'm not stupid I could tell that thank you, but her main robe for the series isn't that difficult o_O I mean... I've seen much worse. I still say, Takiko has the most complicated outfits of all the priestesses... we really haven't seen her robes as a priestess but the closest thing we've had is this Sooo... yea, Miaka, IMO is fairly simple. surprised it would be amazing if i could make that by july...but i time really isnt on my side sweatdrop actually, i think a lot of people have cosplayed as miaka in her robes before...i havent seen an alice yet though so i really wanted to go for that this year but again, no time to shop n sew stare ...i wanted to be ceres but i dont exactly know which outfit would make you point and say, "oh! you're ceres arent you?"

Well that's another costume I'm making for a con in August, it's going to be interesting, since I get to kind of make up what colors go where. But seeing as Genbu's main colors are great I think I've got a basic idea of what there needs to be. I don't care about being recognized or not.

When I think of Aya, she has her long hair (not cut yet) and is wearing that red uniform.

Well, I've cosplayed before but it wasn't any of Yuu Watase's characters. I dressed up as an arranged cotume for Kamatari from Runouni Kenshin at the PMX convention and I dressed up as a goth for last yea'rs Anime Expo. There's also another Anime Expo coming this July for those that live near Anheim, California. I might be going too, so tell which day you're going to go. It would be cool for us to meet in real life! heart

So I'm currently working on the "priestess" outfit preview we've kind of been given in Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden, for Otakon in August. I started off by working on the Genbu Shinzahou, since I like working with clay. And this is how it has come out: Its not perfect mind you, but I'm very pleased with how it came out and am really looking forward to starting on the rest of the costume soon.

Ugh, lost post.
I said that it's nearly identical! Such an incredible job. It would be perfect if the chain was longer, in my opinion. Anyway, Watase would be proud to see your cosplay. 3nodding

I figure though, no one is really going to look under my wig to check though, so its not a big deal.
