My MO was always Draw , GF , Magic. I only ever used Item when I could'nt use magic. And I loved casting Reflect on a member and hitting them with magic , it's more powerful when it's bounced.

I kept Zell with GF Draw and Item, I never had him cast except for Draw/Cast. All spells he drew were for junctioning.

i had squall with magic gf and recover
irvine or zell with gf magic and treatment
then rinoa with gf item and revive!

So what's your stratagy with Ultima? Mine is Aura abuse + Pulse Ammo + Renzokuken, with Zell taking care of throwing holy wars.

I don't like Pulse ammo,
Sure it's powerful, but for so few shots, it should break the damage limit (on the normal shot times I can only get 3 off, but longer ones I can get about 6)

Red Crosell XIII I don't like Pulse ammo, Sure it's powerful, but for so few shots, it should break the damage limit (on the normal shot times I can only get 3 off, but longer ones I can get about 6) I just keep pressing the button over and over, normally get five shots. I only use it on things that NEED to be taken out NOW

The guide says you get a "Proof of Omega" in the information section of the menu, but it doesn't say what that is... and as far as items are concerned I just heard three-stars

It isn't an item, it appears in the info section, and I wanna know what may be inside that section or what (just be sure to mark it as spoiler as even though I wanna know, others may wanna find out for themselves)

proof of omega is just something in the tutorial section that just says omega is beaten or something, the items you get is something stupid, i was really dissapointed when i beat it, all that crap i went though and you don't get squat.
ultima was no problem for me, by the time i got down to it, i had so much fighting i was at least lvl 60. i just threw on some aura, and beat it senceless, healing when needed, shell, protect, and haste, helped also...

actually my last play-through, I got to level 30 before even fighting Ifrit (I was getting AP for a head-start on GF abilities) thus, I think I got to 100 on disc 1 or 2

lol I like to level up enough to be able to defeat Diabolos before I go on my first official mission. I love Mug. One of the problems with levelling up early is that your characters reach thay're max before you can use items to raise they're stats iykwim.
Who liked the card game? I was addicted to it , I kept getting pay-cuts rofl The card queen was very annoying though evil evil
