Mak looked at the girl, shock also playing in his eyes. He watches as the spheres grew stronger looking back her. "Maru...don't do this..." he said, not wanting to fight the child they'd been looking for.
Miku followed after Maku, his eyes gazing around the room in observation. He still bit his lip slightly, looking back towards his brother, with worry and fear mixed in his eyes. "Maku... do you think they�ll be okay?" he asked with a bit of timidness.

Hikaru stepped back, covering Mak mostly as the power of the shperes was to great to completly block now. "Go and make sure they escape..." He whispered to Mak, his voice filled with worry.
Maru growled, "MY NAME IS ANASI!" He roared blasting at the two, anger in her eyes. She felt empty, the mention of a possible family angered her more.
Hikaru shut his eyes in concentration as he grabbed Mak's hand, the element of Aurora returning as he put up a most impressive shield. The shield withstood all blasts. Opening his eyes he frowned, "Maru...." He whispered, sad she did not know.
Maku stopped and looked back, he could sense the fear in his brother. His blue eyes filled with tears at his frustration. "Their strong....stronger than us....but.." He looked at his brother with a grin. "Were not gunna let a bunch of old guys show us up right?" He said playfully, a spark flashing in his eyes.

Mak watched as the shield took the blasts, looking at Hikaru with worry. "Are you sure you can handle it?" he asked, not wanting to leave him alone to fight but also wanting to make sure Maku and Miku did escapes successfully.
Miku looked at his brother and nodded. "Yah... I guess..." he said, looking down. "But what if... what if something bad happens? What if they don't make it Maku?" he said, looking back up at him, biting his lip harder as he tried to hold back tears that were beginning to whelm in his eyes from the thought.

within the slums, fenris lept from one roof to the other, his leathery bat wings keeping his balance and a fanged smile crossing over his face. he didn't care that the boy followed him right now, he did not even acknowledge him. fresh young heart beats rang in the monster's head as he jumped, finding a low roof to settle on for a moment.
the dark voided windows to a non existant soul which were fenris' eyes scanned the area below, finding few hearts he would love to rip out and drain. his eyes came upon a woman, a red head who slunk around the city trying to hide herself within her trench coat. fenris dove down behind the woman, his mouse, and stalked her. ''chilly out tonight, do you not think?''
the woman turned sharply, her fearful grey eyes focusing on the creature. ''it...it isn't so bad...'' she replied, her voice soft. fenris looked down, holding out his clawed hand, giving off the feeling to her that he could, in some way, be trusted. ''i seek the perfect flower...'' he began as a beautiful red rose formed within his hand. the woman eased, smiling a bit at the flower. it became the color of blood then before blackening and turning to ash within fenris's hand. ''you see i can never contain the blood within the rose and it always dies...i fear i haven't enough blood within me...''
fenris gave a wretched smile with the woman's gasp, closing his clawed fingers around her throat with both hands. he didn't squeeze, only savored the woman's fright. he sniffed her. ''you are sweet.'' he said, releasing one hand. ''th...thank you...'' the woman trembled. ''of course...i'll bet your heart is sweeter.'' he ran a his hand over her chest gently, making the woman blush, which he loved. he then struck her chest and grabbed onto her heart, pulling it out still attatched to her body. ''i wonder if you could live like this...'' fenris said, dropping the woman and leaving her the way she was, her heart exposed. he licked his hand clean and wandered off again.

Hikaru nodded letting go of Mak's hand. He looked Mak in the eyes. "Just make sure our kids get out..." He said smiling before, frowning blasting Maru back with a burst of air.
Maru grunted flying back a ways, she was still young and needed more training. Landing on her feet she growled and walked back slowly her eyes narrowing.
Hikaru looked at Mak and pushed him lightly. "go..." He said smiling, before turning back.
Maku frowned and put a hand on Miku's shoulder. "Come on, It's our dads. Nothing can go wrong, I mean their undeafted." He said smiling trying to cheer his brother up.

Mak glanced at Hikaru and nodded, quickly turning and taking the same route as Maku and Miku had, going through the secret passage through the bookcase and heading down to the safe house.
Miku looked up at his brother and gave a small smile, feeling slightly better. "Yah... your right. They'll make it back just fine." He said, blinking and looking behind him. He looked at Maku. "I think someone�s coming..." he whispered, not so sure what to do.
Mak ran down, pausing a moment before running up to them. He gave a smile to both the boys. "Good your alright." He looked around and motioned to them. "Come on. We've got to get out of here."

As the three ran the roof burst open behind them as they ran. Hikaru came flying down blasting Maru trying to knock her out. With a bolt of speed, Hikaru was sent into the near by wall, falling to the ground he didn't move. His body seemed to be battle worn and blood could be seen dripping from him.
Maku knew not to but did, he looked back. "DAD!!" He screamed, tears welling up in his eyes.

Miku watched the site in horror and burst into tears, trying to hold back his sobs. "Dad..." he cried, biting his lip.
Mak clenched his teeth and shut his eyes, shaking his head. He opened them and looked at Maku and Miku, grabbing each by the arm and pulling them away, shoving them in front of him. "Keep moving." He said, looking back over his shoulder, his aura making him glow a bit.

Hikaru groaned and winced trying to stand, he manga to get half way up before Maru sent a hard punch into his stomach. "Maru...please stop...I'm...were...were family...." He said as blood dripped down from his mouth. His blue eyes were full of pain, not of physical but of the heart.
Maku began to shed tears but a whimper did not break his lips as he nodded to Mak and wipped his eyes. Grabbing a firm grip on Miku's wrist he shot off into the air and out the escape route. "Don't look back." He whispered visions comming to him. "DON'T LOOK BACK!" He shouted tears streaming down his face, as the manor slowly blurred from view.
Maru sneered, grabbing Hikaru's old sword. "I am NOT your daughter ....you....you freak....." She said kicking him hard in the chest. Hikaru grunted and just lay there breathing hard. Maru shook her powers reacting to Hikaru's Empathic signature. "What...what are you doing!?" She shouted stabbing the sword down.
Hikaru gasped in pain as the blade pierced his stomach, pain rushed through Maru as it did, the connection between the two now more power. Images flashed in her head, images of soilders, and Hikaru and Mak's faces. Reha's face as she died. "I.....no...NO all lies!" She said turning at Mak, several shperes in her palms. "NO MORE LIES!" She screamed as she blasted at Mak.

"Hikaru!" Mak yelled, quickly putting up a shield to fend off the bombardment of spheres. "Maru! Stop! Listen to me!" he yelled, trying to talk her out of it. "Don't do this! It isn't right!"
Miku followed along with Maku, wiping away tears that ran down his face with his free sleeve. "Maku! We have to go back! We gotta help them!!" he said, trying his best not to look back at their home.

Maku didn't stop he held his grip on Miku's arm. "We can't...I...I promised dad...that...not matter what......I'd...I would make sure you were safe....no matter what...." He said tears falling from his face, as the preminotions showed what was comming.
Maru clenched her eyes shut as her free hand called out to Mak's sword. The blade hilt met her hand as she wielded both. "Right!? Right?! What do you know about right!?" She shouted using Mak's blade to send a light shattering slice at him. After wards lunging at him, the sword out int front of her as she lunged.

Mak gritted his teeth, holding his arms in front of him to block as his shield was shattered. He quickly side stepped, flinching as the blade cut across his side. He stumbled slightly and caught himself, clutching his side. "Maru.. listen.. you can't do this. We're family.. you have to remember..." he said, panting slightly.
Miku cried, shaking his head. "But we have too! We have to help them! WE HAVE TOO!" he shouted, knowing he wouldn't change his brothers mind but was willing to try anyways.

Maru clentched her teeth and jabbed at Mak as tears poured from her face. Images of who she thought her father flashing in her head killing her real mother. "No....NO MORE!" She shouted glowing as a huge explosion erupted from her body sending a shock everything around her flying back.
Hikaru clutched the blde in him and using his power pulled it out, luckly it didn't hit anything major, it just hurt like hell and back. "MAK!" He shouted struggling to stand.
Maku shook his head to himself. "No....we can't change it...she...she...she's our sister Mik....she's our Mar....." He said tears pouring down his face as he felt the elemental shockwave.

Mak went flying back with the shockwave crashing hard to the ground. He grunted, sitting up slightly, still clutching his wounded side. He looked at Maru with pain filled eyes, his heart heavy. "Maru..."
Miku looked back at his brother not believing his ears. "But...but....then...then why is she fighting them?! Why is she trying to kill them?!" he asked, tilting his head back slightly as he too felt the wave. "Why...?"

Hikaru swayed as his vision blurred, "Mak!" He shouted, falling back his world turning to darkness.
Maru growled, tears pouring from her eyes as she aimed at Mak. "I'm not Maru." She said levitating him then throwing him into the out cold Hikaru. Snapping several soilders appeared running in.
Maku turned and looked at his brother with tears, his eyes sad. "Because....she's...not our sister right now..." He whispered hugging Miku.
