Sayuri sat on a rock overlooking the river. Butterflies were flying around, and the trees were looking over her, as it used to. Sayuri took off her shoes and put her feet in the water, sighing once, and looking down to the ground.
"Stupid..." she thought to herself "Stupid! If you didn't ask that question..."
Her eyes looked to the stars and the crescent moon above. It wasn't watery, but it did show that she was upset.
"None of this would've happened..." she said softly

Hisana went through Fire Country at a swift speed, until she saw a girl by the river. She wanted to keep running, but she wondered why she was there.
"Oh well, I'd better check it out." she said as she appeared in her sights.

Sayuri looked as she saw a girl in front of her. She looked about her age, maybe older.
"Who are you?" she said

"My name is Hisana." she said, in a monotone-like voice. "I travel all over the great countries. Who are you supposed to be?" Hisana loooked at the girl, not moving from her spot.

"I'm Sayuri. Why are you all alone?" she asked Hisana. "Don't you have a squad with you, or maybe your family?"
Looking at her headband, she realized that she was from the Hidden Waterfall. Not much of those ninja you see everyday.

Hisana didn't look at Sayuri as she asked that question. She looked to the horizon, where there was endless night.
"I...don't have a squad, nor do I have a family. I take care of myself, and only myself. It had been that way for a long time. You have been in my position, I presume?"
Hisana's eyes turned back to Sayuri.
"I'm sure you and your team would meet up with me again. Until then, goodbye."
Hisana disappeared from her sight, and started running once more.

Night fell, and soon Tsuki-sensei joined Mizu and Taki in slumber, Kai offering to take watch. He looked up at the sky. It was clouded now, and would rain soon, so there were no stars twinkling down on him. Sayuri's been gone a while now... He activated his red eye and concentrated on keeping watch.

Sayuri still sat on the rock near the river, wondering about who that girl was now. Was she like her back then? A faint wind blew. Sayuri didn't see the moon now, since it was covered by clouds.
"Maybe I should go back..." she said getting up

Kai sighed in relief upon noticing Sayuri's form nearby, her the only person within 350 meters aside from Taki, Mizu, Tsuki-sensei and himself. He watched, a safe distance away, as Sayuri stood up, murmuring, "She's probably coming back now..."

Sayuri slowly walked back to her squad, dragging her feet to get there. The faint wind blew in her hair, as she let a few lily petals go from her hand, making it blow away from her.
"The moon's not up... that's not really comforting...." she murmured softly as she walked away from the river.

Sayuri seemed a bit depressed, but Kai was sure she would get over it. He looked up into the sky, and smiled at the vibrant stars, away from the urban lights, more beautiful than usual. He sighed in contentment, a small smile lighting up his face.
Mizu snored slightly, before rolling over and falling silent. And owl hooted softly not far away, and a few crickets were chirping. Other then that, a clear feeling of calmness and quiet fell over the forest.

Sayuri finally made it to the camp, slow as she was right now. She her seat, across from where the fire was lit. She didn't say anything to disturb the others, just staring at the ground.

"Sayuri," Kai spoke. "You want to get some sleep? Or would you like to take the next guard?"

Sayuri's head tilted up a bit.
"I'll pass tonight, Kai." she said softly
Sayuri got in a more comfortable position, laying down on the ground, facing the stars and heavens above.

Kai smiled, looking up toward the sky. The storm-to-be was traveling quickly and now stars were visible in the sky. I'll take watch all night...the other three need their rest.
