Duhushi raised his brow. "You flew?..." He thought for a moment. "Well I guess the graveyard isn't the best place or the most scenic but it holds it's own beauty if you know where to look." He remembered the first time that the geysers had gone off and the greenish tints had made such a beautiful light show against the white of the skulls and the golds of the sunset.
His tail flicked behind him in restlessness. The purple lion had been in one place for much too long. Paws moving slowly he passed by her and hoped onto one of the many rocks.
"Are you going to show me around? I don't want to navigate by myself."

"Well, you'll just have to show me that beauty when I visit," she murmurs, watching him hop past her, getting to her feet. She shook the dust from her pale fur. "You want the tour now? At night?" She shook her head a little, but obligingly she begins to trot into the trees.
"You wanted to see the famous waterfalls, right? Well, they're this way. They look quite wonderful at night, with the moonlight sparkling on the water, but during the day you can really see how clear and beautiful the water really is."

Duhushi smiled widely and looked down to her. "We might as well. I've been restless and I'd just have to go back hom to sleep anyway." He shook out his own fur and slowly followed her through the trees. The shrubbery was almost to thick for him to go through but he managed somehow.
"This place is so dense. How do you actually get through this Ny?" He was nearly out of breath as he finally caught up with her.
"I'm sure it'll be beautiful no matter when I see it but I highly doubt I would be welcome here during the day." The purple cub certainly didn't want anything to do with the older ones in the pride even if he wanted to see Ny.

She chuckled as she watched him struggle through the lush, thick greenery, her eyes glinting. "Being small in this part of the lands is an asset. I fit." She shrugs her shoulders lighhtly, although considerably slows her pace to a walk, rather than the trot she'd been travelling at before. "And I'm used to it. I spend nearly every day moving through these trees. Don't worry; it thins out the further you get into the lands. You'll be fine when we get closer to the falls."
She frowned, though, as she spoke. "That's true. It would be very unwise to come here during the day time. I'm not even sure it's wise to come here late at night. It looks tranquil from the outside... but not inside." She shakes her head a little, where she sets her paws confident but without thought. She knows this place as well as she knows her own reflection, and naturally avoids all the dangers and annoyances: dips in the ground, loose roots, stones to stub one's toes on, those sorts of things. Doesn't occur to her to guide him past them, and probably won't until he trips and dives face first in the dirt, or hurts himself. Maybe both.

Duhushi growled at a particualr brach that had caught his leg. "Well, size doesn't matter in the graveyard. Agility is what we favor." He was quite use to jumping and weaving but ducking and didging was not quite his forte. A quick tug and his leg finally feel free. He continued to follow as hard as it was for him. "Maybe I should come here more often. This is almost too hard for me." He certainly wasn't a small lion by his standards but sometimes it came in handy.
"Damn branches..."
When he finally was free of everything he believed that it would be quite the strol until an unsavory root spoiled his walk. He fell to the dirt and scrambled to right himself. The root aquired a few scratrches before he was satisfied. "How exactly are you still alive Ny? This stuff would havekilled me by now..."

Turning to watch him, she couldn't have stopped the laugh that spilled from her at seeing him take a nosedive in the dirt. It had been a rather boring day today, exploring paths she's walked a thousand times before, and that just made it all better. And knowing that he wasn't actually hurt just made her laugh all the harder, as it didn't matter so much. After all, she wasn't one to laugh when someone was in pain, as unpleasant as she can sometimes be.
"I told you, I'm used to it. I know the twists and turns of this place so well I never stumble any more." Mastering her laughter - barely - she carries on walking, the foliage beginning to thin, as she'd promised. Dimly, the sound of rushing water can be heard now, when there's no talking. "Stop trying to walk like me and concentrate on watching where you're going. Otherwise you'll dirty your colourful fur again." Mirth is still in her voice as she says this, easily ducking under a lower branch, due to her smaller size.

He blew his bangs from his face as ho followed her. "Thanks for laughing." He would have stuck out his tongue if he hadn't been a bit more mature than that. Tail swinging behind him for balance, his eyes darted about hi surroundings. Duhushi didn't want anymore roots coming out of nowhere again. He'd never been down these paths before and the view was beginning to get more interesting than the floor.
Her laughing was getting on his nerves. His eyebrow twtiched as it raised. Green eyes starred at the lioness before him in a soft glare. It certainly wasn't anger, just friendly scoffing. "If that's the waterfall then we must be getting closer."
A smile spead on his maw at the mention of his fur.

His little glare only made her snicker, as she glanced back to see it. "You're welcome, Duhu. It's what friends are for." Still sniggering to herself, she hops over a protruding branch with entirely too much bounce in her step. Even if she'd pretty much stopped laughing on the outside, this proved that there was still mirth bubbling around inside her. After all, it's just indescribably funny when someone falls over.
"We are getting close. Not far at all, now." Even as she speaks, the land begins to slope upwards a little, and she breaks into a trot as she begins to scale it. "Up the top of the hill, and we're there." The trees are beginning to thin rapidly now, the rushing of water getting louder with each step.

Duhushi didn't appreciate others laughing at him. He coughed lighty and continued after her. "Well it's nice to know that I have someone looking out for me.." There was a bit of mirth that over shadowed his frustration. The branch that she manuvered about was a bit harder for the purple prince. His tail luckily kept his balance as the branch caught under his paws. Finally feeling ground beneath him he gave relieved sigh.
"Great. I've always wanted to see them." The bounce in his step had returned with the loud rush of water. Green eyes looked about as the trees grew thin. Duhushi sped up a bit on the incline just so he wouldn't fall behind.

"Of course it is. Where would anyone be without friends like me?" She chuckled lightly as she crested the hill, coming opposite the great, thundering falls of water themselves. The noise is almost deafening now, the air damp from the spray.
"Well, here we are. The famous falls of the Umande'mfuni lands." She turns to face him, sitting as she does so. "So... what do you think?" This was actually her favourite place to be. Dozing while listening to the water was somehow soothing and relaxing. Some of her earliest memories are of her mothers bringing her here.

Purple paws ached when he finally saw the falls for himself.Green eyes widened, taking in all the sights around him. "They're...beautiful." It seemed as if his father had possessed him as the water rushed before them. A genuine smile widened on him maw until he couldn;t contain his excitement.
"Stunning, Ny. Absolutely stunning..." Ausha's energy may not have translated to his son but the bright sparkle certainly did. The cub finally fell to his haunches, which was a good thing considering that he probably would have slipped and fallen. "It's so peaceful here. It's almost like I don't want to leave." He turning to her with a shimmer in his green eyes. His expression was full of excitement and compassion as if all the wiehgt had been lifted off his shoulders.

Nyunya laughed as she watched him, unable to contain it. It was a happy laugh, genuinely kindly amused. This was a familiar sight to her; everyone was bedazzled by the sheer beauty of the falls the first time they saw them. She can only imagine how she had looked the first time she'd seen them, back when she was even smaller than she was now, just a young cub, barely old enough to leave the den. Denge had brought her here, and after the initial excitement had died down, she'd fallen asleep curled up against her mother's chest, listening to the sound of the rushing water.
"Everyone says that," she comments, after the laughter has died down. "But I have to admit, I agree with you. No matter how many times I come here to see them, they never get old. They... take my breath away." Her voice drops to a murmur as she looks back at the falls.

Duhushi watched the water tumble about in awe. He wouldn't have known at the beginning of the day that he would see such a breathtaking sight.Tail swinging back and forth, the purple cub turned to her. The salmon of her fur seemed to shine in the dappled light making her all the more beautiful. Another tendril of striped fur fell into his eyes and he blew it back. It didn't do much considering that his mane was damp and sticking together.
"Thank you for bringing me here." A smile broke his maw. "I needed this especially in these times of crisis."

Nyunya watched him watching her, smiling a genuine smile, and just as he secretly thought of her beauty, she had to admit he was handsome when he did that. His outrageously-coloured fur was rather attractive, in her mind - probably because she had similar.
"It's no problem. What are friends for, eh?" She shrugs off the thanks with a smile, but her face turns serious again when she asks, "Crisis? Is everything all right?"
