I agree, stereotypes are lame. now that i have said that.
Someimtes people stereotype themselves to make a point, like with beign "Emo" they do it to show people that they are in pain. Or for instance being a "Jock" could show that they love to play sports. Sometimes people stereotype themselves just to make others laugh, though when they do this, they usually aren't actually like teh stereotype. I guess, what I'm saying is that there are many reasons while people do it.

Or any other combination of specific traits of different stereotypes.

Or any other combination of specific traits of different stereotypes. Yes it does, but it's what they want people to see first about them. It's the thing that they want people to know about them. I know that there is no stereotype that actually fits a person, because nobody is like anything all the time. They are themselves, no matter what they say, or how they act. It will still be different then how someone else acts in the exact same situation.

I hate stereotypes, but what I hate even more is stupid kids trying to be a stereotype they're not! Like a girl who just out of the blue starts wearing black clothes and says she's goth because she listens to Evanescence. Or some guy who gets a stupid haircut and paints his fingernails black and says he's emo, even if his life really is allright! There's some people on gaia that are like that too, just check how many wannabes enter the arena in a "goth", "emo", or "punk" av...! Trust me, I know punks, and there is not a ******** punk item on Gaia! Yes, even the ones that have punk in their name! Oh, and Cat, plz don't leave... We all love you very much and I'm sure everyone in this guild will try to make you feel better. <3
