meowmistress Okay, this is about Curse of Darkness. So in order to get the super cool evolution of the devil familiar you need to get this spear and evolve it with that. . . Now, this is what makes me mad!! In order to get one of the materials, the Devil's Veil, you need to steal it from Isaac when you fight him the first time. Problem is, I DIDN'T because I later found this out! And it's so sad because this is my second time around playing the game and I've certainly passed that part. sweatdrop I'm wondering, is there a way to get the Devil's Veil somewhere else?? And also is there a mode where you can start over a new game and bring over the old game's weapons and familiars?? Sigh. . . They make it so tough to get this devil evolution! But I want it so much! xD you could fight all the bosses to unlock boss rush mode and fight all the bosses that you've already fought.

meowmistress hypnocrown You know my friend, I had a similar thing happen to me on another game. You see, on Final Fantasy Tactics Advance there are 2 missions where you are supposed to steal the weapon from a certain character and I had no idea that after a while of stealing the weapon from that character over and over again (the character replaces the stolen weapon for another one), he would replace the useless weapon with a super useful weapon. Now I'm way past that part and according to gameFAQs there is no other way to get those weapons I want. I hope there is another way to get that veil you want somewhere else. I sure don't know as I no longer have a PS2 or any means to play Curse of Darkness. crying Oh yes, I remember in the game Suikoden 1, you had to fight a certain character and if you loose, the game still continues on, but what I didn't know was that if you actually one, which was really really hard, your friend that died comes back to life. It sucked cuz I didn't know that! sweatdrop homans, this brought back memories. XD GREMIOOOOOO crying

Gremio's stew is delicious. ;_;
I'm banging my head off the wall right now trying to get Phlogistons from the Fire Gargoyley doods. All my battle-type IDs always smash the crap out of them instead of hitting them up in the air so I can steal from them.
I neeeeeeds them. Friggin' hate the stealing system.

Well, I have been able to play CoD for a few days now and it's great indeed. I do wonder though, what could be the best way to use the ceremonial tool I found? Maybe I should go to gameFAQs and find out... 3nodding BTW, has anyone been able to steal anything from Trevor? I just faced him and I never saw the cursor turning purple so, maybe it's not possible. neutral

You'll need a few ceremonial tools, so don't worry if you use it right now. You can steal them from common enemies.

Hey! I just got some info from gameFAQs about an ability of the golem. It says you have to get 100 chain combos with golem but, how exactly? Do I have to get them in succession or... I don't know. Does anyone know about this? BTW, I already know who I have to steal the ceremonial tools from and I have about 40 of them. 3nodding

An easy way to get 100 chain combos is to equip one of the special weapons. Each hit equals a combo, so go anywhere there's lots of enemies and go for it. And hitting candlestands counts, too. The ability is Hip Press 2, which is needed to access an area either in the mountains or the forest (can't remember).

The person you can have win the fight is Pahn. And technically, not only do you need him to survive, but you need all 108 stars of desteny collected before the last war (when Leknaat tells you about Windy).
Gremio's stews are indeed delicious, but Lester's are supposedly far superior 3nodding all that man does is make stew.
