"Yes, but now it is time to visit a dear old friend," she said, and made as graceful a landing as possibal, and grinned, in only a way a dragon could. To a stranger, she'd probably look intimidating, but Kasch knew a dragon's grin when he saw one, this she was confident in. "Kasch, Kasch.." she said in a tisk-tisk tone, "You are plagued by these troubles which you let Imre torment you with... When was it last you left this castle? Or enjoyed yourself for the matter?"

"It's been so long that I don't believe to remember it any longer." It didn't make much sense to anyone else, but Kasch knew what he meant by it and so it didn't matter what anyone else believed or if they understood it at all. Such was the way of the second brother belonging to the supposed gods, the hellion as they call it. "What old friend are you visiting? Not calling me old are you?" he teased a bit.

The man was not always cold and unfeeling, it was just at times that he felt it was better to distance himself from the world and anyone that could hurt him.

The dragon snorted a laugh, "The villagers consider your age to be an unanswerable question," she teased in turn, then nudged him lightly in the center of his back, "What say you and I go for a much-needed midnight flight? By now surely your tired of roaming this castles endless halls."

"It is impossible for one such as myself to become tired of the halls of this castle. Roaming in the darkness is something that I terribly enjoy." However, he spread his wings and moved the end a bit, getting some feeling back into them. It had been a while since he'd flown. Crouching a bit, he spread hsi wings fully and then launched himself up off the railing, hanging in the air for a moment.

"Race you to the bottom." And with that, he folded his wings and went into a dive toward the ground.

"CHEATER!" came the dragon's roar, yet still delighted. In one swift motion she spread her wings bound off the balcony and also went into a dive, though she spiraled her way to his side. She paused her spiraling long enough to speak, her toothy grin was clearly visable, "but roaming in the darkness cannot teach you to use your wings!"

The wings folded around him as he descended even faster. "But I learned to soar years ago my dear." And with that, his wings flung out and caught him on the air currents, slowly gliding back upwards. It had been awhile since he'd truly stretched his wings and it felt nice, though they were nearly invisble in the night's sky. It was a tactical advantage he'd always enjoyed, the ablility to cloak himself in darkness if need be.

She too spread her wings, several yards below him, stopping her quick descent, and chanted up to him, "What's this?? Is the great Kasch forfeiting our match?! What will the commoners make of this..." she shook her head in mock-shame.

"I can break my own rules every now and again, can I not?" he asked, floating a little bit, but then in a sudden movement his wings flung together and he dropped again, waving as he passed her. No one ever said that he played fair really, and who was to begrudge him a bit of fun with one of his loyal dragons? He had a bit more trouble than her, the feathers catching more air than the more reptilian wings of a dragon.

She grinned again and dropped backwards into yet another descent, he never had played fair but that only made things more interesting. They had been falling for a while now, the castle's height was almost unbeleivable, but in the distance her green slit eyes caught sight of the ground through the mist. She kept her wings as close to her body as possible, trying to get past him before she had to spread them again so she didn't smash herself to peices.. It was always dangerous, this game, but neither were exactly the prim and proper kind, not underneith it all.

When he was close to the ground, Kasch spread his wings quicklike and caught himself just before he hit, his toes just barely touching as he floated down a few seconds before flapping them a few times to give himself some height.

She spread her wings at the last moment, in an attempt to gain some distance, and just after Kasch had touched down, she landed with an enormous thud, her head held up and let out drawnout hiss at having lost. "You and your trickery," she said stubbornly.

The man laughed, hovering a little bit above the ground and looking at her. "You are the silly one that always falls for my tricks." He reminded her, the great black wings invisible as usual though they cast a small shadow on the ground. He truly enjoyed talking to the dragon and spending time with her, but he rarely talked about anything terribly political with her because he saw no reason for it.

"My brother has some dragon eggs." he said quietly, somberly.

The dragon's voice also became somber, "How could that have come about?........What are you going to do?" she half thought aloud, and half asked him.

The king touched down a few feet from his dragon, letting out a small sigh and looking up at the place he knew the moon to be hidden behind clouds and obscured from the light of the sun that circled the planet to give the little bit of light at night. "They aren't dragons like you, they're elementals. I've no clue how he came about them, but I plan to get one for myself before they hatch. Anymore than that and it may start a war."

"The poor things.." she said sadly, hoping with all her heart that she may never have to fight one of them. "If you like, I will watch over it while you go about your duties," she offered, knowing Kasch could not always be around to raise the egg, and eventually, the hatchling.
