You beat the game after collecting all of the 48(?) plants and animals in the game. - EZ Gun You eiether beat the game without getting an ALERT mode, or you shot every single Kerotin(Little green frogs that make annoying sounds when shot) in the game. - Stealth Camo You beat the game - Patirot And you get the SAA(Single Action Army) by picking up Ocelot's gun that has the bullet in it, near the end of the game. Erekayu i have a copy of subsistence and after i beat it the first time i got a stealth camo and all thecamo gears (facepaint and such) but the only wepon i got was the EZ gun and the Patriot...what did i do exactly? 2 Weeks works just fine. It's alot easier if you save it, and turn it off whille you are in the middle of the fight, then set your PS2 clock foward 2 weeks. You can change it back, if you want, after he dies, too. Erekayu ok, im trying to get some cutscenes as well, im trying to get the "the end dies of old age", but i got a problem...i dont know how long that will take, and i wanna know if i save and dont touch it for a MONTH if it will play that.

HOLY CRAP! i only got alert once, but i DID shot all those green thingies! they were fun! i thought they distracted the guards...turns out they distract the guards because i shot something to shoot the froggies. i DID collect all the animals?! i thougth there was more...like 70... *laughs* the patriot was too easy to get i guess... and the end is going to be SO dead when i play it again...

Scope-sniping
I've yet to see anyone mension it anywhere so I guess I'll write out one method I use to get easy long distance headshots using a handgun.
Basically, it's just abusing the camera system that when you come out of the scope view while holding down R1 your camera will stay in the exact same position.
Anyway, proceed as follows:
1) Equip Scope and Handgun.
2) Zoom in to the enemy or object you wanna shoot.
3) Hold down the L2 button to freeze the action.
4) Hold down R1 and the weapon button.
5) Cycle through the item window to [none] (still hold down the R1 and Weapon buttons)
6) Release L2.
Your aim will be precisely where you were looking with your scope - the fact that you can use the crosshair on your scope means that this method gives you accuracy comparable with a sniper rifle but with the added advantage of a silencer on your pistol.
Disadvantages
exclaim Can't be used in conjunction with sidestep or standing on tip-toes.
exclaim The gun must be fired quickly afterwards or Snake's natural hand tremble can mess up the shot.
exclaim Difficult to use on a moving enemy.
exclaim Exclusive to Metal Gear Solid 3 - unavailable on other Metal Gear games.

Umm... For those who own subsistence... What's going on with MGO? I tried logging on it gives me an error and tells me that the service is unavailable... All my other games work just fine online but not MGO, what's up with that?

Thanks for posting the info on the Moss camouflage. I was SO pissed when I didn't see it appear. stare All I got was The End's stupid sniper rifle (I like the SVD better). The strategy guide is misleading, it tells you just to kill him using the Mk22.
Doing that for every boss is a pain in the a**. gonk *did it and it took me a while, especially on The Boss*

It's basically overall good in any area.. Its usual camo index is from 60 - 70, +5 - 10 for the face, you're guaranteed a 65+, from my experience, but I haven't tried it everywhere.
