Hey, he's the only member that has a completely different color than the others. If you've noticed, they all have either gold (yellow), green, or blue eyes.

None of them have brown eyes or something like that.
Also if you notice, five members (and Namine) have blonde hair (or some form of it). And all of the blondes have blue eyes, save for Demyx who has green.

I love The Producers! Oh, Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick, how I adore thee...
Ahem.
The color-scheming issues may be due solely to what matches. Brown eyes are genetically improbable to be paired with blonde hair, so that might be why all the blondes have blue or green eyes.
Or maybe Mr. Nomura liked Zexion the best and wanted to make him different. smile
