The passengers were put on another flight to Vienna, without the cat and its owner, who had to take a separate flight there.

Wow. Terrorist kitties. James Bond for felines, sneaking through into the cockpit with the lunch lady. And went straight for the copilot too, without anyone noticing what went on. Now that takes skill.

But I can see it now. A legion of trained cats used to take over the world by taking over the airways of the planet.

The new law makes sex with a corpse a felony punishable by up to eight years in prison.

Well, the governator had to make a law for this? Ye gods.

What's worse. It took them TWO years to get it passed. Why the hell would it stall in the legistlation? Can senators not get a real date so they had to hide the bodies before they made it a law?

It probably took so long because procedure most likely took place over taboo. There's nothing overtly wrong with necrophelia, other than it being completely sick, twisted and disgusting. It probably just got shelved while other things, like tax deficit, took precedence. And without further adiou...

Switched on just before the start of every service, the system causes a "no signal" message to be displayed on worshipers' phones, but causes them no lasting damage.

"We believe that we were the first church in Mexico to use this technology," Carranza said.

"Now we are getting calls from all over the country to see how it can be installed."

Well... Technically... There still is sound, you just can't hear it... Just like things above the 20KHz range (if I recall correctly, 20KHz is the upper frequency thresh hold that we can hear).
