Chibidrow I just pray Beast doesn't become a "Charming". I mean, Snow White and Cinderella are both married to the same guy...I kinda wonder now if Disney secretly encouraged polygamy. blaugh lol...they look exactly alike too!! only one has black hair and the other has brown hair! blaugh (i just looked at the boxes)

sealightbreeze I love that movie. I like cogsworth the best. Especially, when he slams his clock shut. LOL! I think that the prince looks girly though. XD THe prince has kind of a big nose, doesn't he? Not my type.

XD THe prince has kind of a big nose, doesn't he? Not my type. I think he looks much better in furry, beasty form. He looks so cuddly! It weirds me out that he's actually a blond. They should have designed his "human" self to look more like his "beast" self.

I think the eyes are supposed to be the unifying feature, because after Belle looks at his eyes she sees the resemblance to the beast finally. But really, I don't think the eyes are too similar either. (just trying to rekindle the Beauty and the Beast conversation for some of the newer folks to participate in)

Harls and I have a friend who is as obsessed with Beauty and the Beast as I am with The Nightmare Before Christmas. I, myself, think it is a masterpiece, and well worth her fascination.

I agree, it is a masterpiece. It deserves its status as first animated film nominated for 'best picture' every bit. As far as obsession goes...heehee. I was just telling The Heat the other day, I know someone who was beyond obsessed. He wanted to be beast on broadway, and he always wore a lanyard filled with beast pins...I mean, he wore it EVERYWHERE. He wound up stuffing maxi pads in his socks to make himself tall enough to be *ahem* very, very close to the beast. In the end, he wound up getting blacklisted from disneyworld for, um, theft. of the penultimate beastly item. [ He stole the beast costume and displayed it in his living room as a conversation piece. ]

One of my favorite scenes is when Beast stands over Belle to protect her from the wolves. It's so sweet!

this movie is a classic and deffinately one of my favourites. i have it on video from when it first came out years ago and i still watch it now! my dad actually bought me my own video player for my room so i would stop watching disney videos in the living room. (he disagrees with a 16 year old still being obsessed with cartoons whee )

I'm 21 and I still love to watch animated movies and shows. Might watch this movie once I get off the computer. Now the question of whether to annoy my parents by watching it in the living room or do it in my room, where I most likely might end up sketching pictures while I watch. Just what I need, more pictures to color. xd
I have a doll of Belle somewhere. It has her blue and yellow dresses and accessories in a small shopping bag of Beauty and the Beast.

If you look at other disney movies most guys don't even hve lips. This one just looked really odd and girly. But i Love THIS movie. And Ms. Potts is the best

Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite Disney movies, and Belle is by far my favorite princess, but I wouldn't say I'm obsessed.
