Kyoko walked up to the door of the Sohma house and knocked. She had always lived on the inside, so when she was told she could go outside she jumped at the chance. She wondered who else had shown up. She had heard that some of the Native American zodiacs were coming to stay, but she didn't know if any had shown up yet. She waited nervously for someone to answer the door.

Yeiko sat up with a jolt. She jumped out of bed, and her foot got caught on the rug. "Ouch!" she yelled, as her hands slapped hard against the wooden floor. "I'm coming!" She shouted, hoping whoever was at the door could hear her. She dashed down the stairs and up to the door, amazed that she had managed to find her way here. She swung the door open and spotted a girl with long orange hair before her. "Kyoko!" she shouted, and threw herself onto her friend. "I heard you were coming to stay with us! Come on, I've got your room ready!" She started down the hallway beside the stairs. Nothing looked familiar. "Oops..." she blushed, and turned around, heading up the steps. She led Kyoko to what used to be Shigure's room.

Ruby was sitting in the middle of the floor humming to sytem of the down Hypnotize but you could barely here her With her head phones blaring.She watched as people walked by her without noticing her.She dident mind she liked being left alone for once.

Kyoko laughed. "Hi Yeika! I didn't know you'd be living here too." She followed her cousin up to a spare room. The house was beautiful, she was going to like it here. She wondered if the Native American Zodiac had a member that was shunned. It sure would be nice to know someone else with a life as crappy as mine she thought.

Yeiko smiled at Kyoko and retreated from the bedroom to let her friend unpack. A second later, her face fell. "Now, where am I?" she said, confused. Somehow, without noticing or paying any attention, she had ended up in a room in which she had never been. This surprised her, as she had explored the whole house, or tried. She had been lost several times on her way. She turned her head to the right and saw a peice of the wall rotting away. To her left, stood a lamp, behind which, was a man. Yeiko gasped, then screamed. The man started toward her.

The wolf pup bit Ruby on the hand she took off her head phones and the pup barked at her she got up and followed.*Whats wrong little one?*
*A scream a scream danger!*Ruby followed faster as the pup lead her to the room.

Yeiko stopped screaming abruptly. "Mikatsu?" she asked her brother, the dog. "What are you doing here?" She jumped as Ruby entered the room, the wolf pup at her heels, and recoiled slightly at the pup's bark. She clapped her hand to her forhead. "Ruby," Yeiko said, exasperatedly, "This is my brother, Mikatsu. He's the dog.
((I guess I'll be playing Mikatsu too, for now.))

Mikatsu sighed. He was always amused by his younger sister. Her reaction to his hiding here was ideal. Seeing the look on his sister's friend's face, he replied, "No, I'm not staying here. I just came to scare off poor, little, Yeiko." Yeiko stepped forward and gave him a good push.

(((Ooh! I'll be the rat too! That way I can fight with myself, cuz I have issues.)))
Kyoko decided to take a walk. She left the house, not even leaving the path before bumping into someone. "Hey, watch where you're going!" She said rubbing her head.
"I believe it is you who should watch where you're going." A familiar voice replied.
"Sakura!!!" Kyoko gasped. "What are you doing here?" She stared into the violet eyes of her enemy, the rat.
"Well, I'm obviously coming to live here. Unfortunately, I didn't know you would be here. I'm positively thrilled to be living with the cat."
Kyoko ran to tackle Sakura, when somebody called her name.

"Kyoko!" Yeiko screamed. "That wouldn't be such a great idea!" She had ditched Mikatsu, who knew that she didn't want to be around him.

Kyoko turned to look at Yeiko. "Oh yeah? Why not?"
"Because you'd lose and end up with a sore ego." Sakura said. "Besides, I could kill you on accident."
"Shut up!!!"
"What's wrong? A bit touchy aren't we?" Sakura said, sneering.

Yeiko looked at Sakura and shook her head, in disapproval. "You know, Sakura," she said, joining Kyoko, "I think you'd be a sore loser, wouldn't you."

(Hey, out of curieosity..is it suposed to be American zodieacs meet jap. or Native Americans? There is a huse diffrence...and i'm not gonna post till it's chnged..)

Sakura turned and glared at Yeiko. "Excuse me? And who are you to talk to me that way?"
Kyoko smiled at Yeiko. "Thank's." She said, happy that someone cared. But
Sakura was seething. "Why are you taking the side of that freak?"
Kyoko gasped. "I'm not a freak!"
"Yes you are." Sakura said nastily.
Kyoko turned and ran back inside the house, collapsing in the entryway. Her sobs wracked her body as she sat thinking about her particular curse. Maybe...I am a freak.

'Oh my darn Akito..." Yeiko said, bringing back her childhood joke. She turned on her heel and ran as fast as she could to the threshhold where Kyoko lay. "Oh, Kyoko," she whispered. "Sakura only said that because she's the rat. You're obligated enemies. And if you're a freak, so am I. You're not the one who can hardly get upstairs without losing direction. Just because you have a slightly different curse, doesn't mean you're any different from the rest of us."

Kyoko stared at Yeiko. "What the hell are you talking about?" She lifted her left arm and fingered the bracelet on it's wrist. "With out this bracelet, I'm a monster. Have you ever seen what I really look like? My family hates me! My mom went crazy and died! And you say my curse is just a little different? Sakura's right. I am a freak. And I will always be that way." Kyoko turned and started to walk off, then turned and looked at Yeiko. She then ran up and threw her arms around her, sobbing into her chest.
