yeah thats hilarious rofl but if he got a choice... he wouldnt.. he devotes himself to the people, not to one particular girl.. this kid couldve had a nice quiet life in a forest.. but he gave that all up to go out on this life endangering quest to save his homeland... tho he did get that life back in the end.

Well the obvious choice is Zelda. But I picked Malon smile

Let me explain why...

Firstly there's like a gabillion different Zeldas and at least 5 different Links. And they can't all end up together. As for all the others I would have said Saria but she's only like 10 so when Link's 18 I think that would fall under *****... Plus she has to live in the sacred realm! (As does Ruto, plus Link don't even like Ruto!)

I would also have said Marin above Marlon but did she ever even exist? Not sure she counts.

So you see it has to be Marlon! biggrin Plus when link's old and wants to retire into the peacefull life Marlon is the only one who could take care of him. 4laugh

Well the link from zelda I and II is the same link, but the zeldas are different. The zelda from zelda II is the 4th one who was put to sleep hundreds of years befor the time of these two games. And the ledgend goes that every princess born since the 4th zelda was also called zelda. So although the zelda from the first game is the 5th one you meet in the games, she's not technically the 5th zelda.

Confusing yes...well true that was her ansestor but in that game He didn't end up with the 5 one he was with the 4 one. The 5 one was Princess Zelda's brother desendient. And so the 4 one is the true Zelda.

I hope mines wasn't confusing I never played the game. I only read what happened.

Yeah I didn't like the game that much either. Maybe if I was older and played it when it first came out I would appreciate it better, but now I'm just used to something a little better. sweatdrop
But I'm addicted to the story. I've just read up about a load of theories about all the double timeline thing. (It's this thing where there's one world in which Ganon got destroyed in Oot, but then there's another created when Zelda sends link back so Ganondorf can't actually become Ganon so the whole game of OoT never happened. Very confusing...)

I never played the game because I wasn't born yet! xd Well now they have it for gameboy so...Well I might get it later.
I don't believe in the duble timeline theory because when Link came back to his time the other time wouldnt exist. You saw in the end of OoT how like the sky looked all weird before you saw Link was a little kid again?

Well thats what I think..

Yeah but at the begining of Wind Waker it says the story of how the hero of time defeated Ganon, therefore OoT must have happened in that world. Where as in MM, OoT clearly didn't happen because he left Hyrule and is still a Kid.

I wasn't born when any of the early zeldas either. 4laugh But I've played them, the first is so old and basic it's just not worth it in my oppinion. The second is so confusing! They ask you for this blue lamp thing that someone says is in the castle but the only thing there is zelda sleeping! Gah!!! Lol. Link to the past, now THATS a good retro game. cool

Well..yes that is true... but I heard that Twilight Princess comes after Ocarina of Time and before Windwaker...so...maybe they were talking about that? But you know perhaps all of us could be wrong about the storyline and such. Only Nintendo knows whats going on. I think they are giving us this giant puzzle and are like telling us that we should try to peice this together and for each new game we find another missing peice...and maybe one day we will finally know everything! But that will be kinda like a bitter-sweet day though..

Yeah that's what I thought as well! That the new link will be the one which WW is talking about. But I've read sooooooo much about it (yes I'm sad mrgreen ) and I gotta say it's pretty convincing.... Look here for example. (If you have ALOT of time on your hands...)
