Hooray! I have a funny story about my high school's Foreign Film Club. One day, I brought in "The Seventh Seal" and those bourgeois ******** got pissed off because they wanted "Wild Strawberries". From that point on, nobody trusted my taste in movies, so I was never able to bring in "The Enigma of Kaspar Hauser".

I say ******** them! This guild looks like fun--I'm always up for learning about movies, if that doesn't necessarily mean watching them...I've got trouble keeping focused sometimes.

Anyways, thanks for having me here. This is the politest I've been in a long time.

I blame coffee.

Oh...should I actually talk about who I am? Probably. I'm Sarah (not Bryan!). I hail from Santa Monica, as well as the somewhat-hellish music forum. I'm not an International reg., although Metronome has somehow tricked me into posting there a few times. I hang around the Indie subforum, which is probably the most repulsive place on all of Gaia. We've implemented a new rule (I'm sure having "house rules" is fine!!) that you can only make Modest Mouse threads anymore. It's delightful.

In my spare time, I go to Starbucks, spend all my money on albums, pretend to be a part of the shitty L.A. "music scene" (when I'm not feeling reclusive), and walk or something. I'm going to be a senior in high school and am plotting exactly how I will ruin my philosophy class.

My favorite foreign film (well, film in general) is "Aguirre, The Wrath of God". I have a thing for blonde men surrounded by monkeys.

Yes!!

p.s. I'd love to contribute some banners, if you don't mind my taking advantage of various MSpaint features, as well as stickmen.

Hey, Sarah, welcome to the guild! I don't know if you'd remember me, but I used to be a regular in the music forum before there were subforums and also a regular in Who is you? 3nodding

I've been meaning to check out Herzog, I thought he was awesome in Julien Donkey-Boy.

Oh, and The Seventh Seal is awesome. If I knew how to play chess, I'd totally take on Death in a game.

Of course I remember you!

You were and still are one of the more tolerable people to have graced Who is you.

Seriously, check it sometime (in the indie subforum) for shits and giggles. It's so bad that even MY posts are good!

Definitely check out Herzog...if you don't, you'll beat the s**t out of yourself in your sleep. It's a subconscious love, it is.

Bah, I need to rent Katakuris so my mother can watch it. I compared it to the rest home my (great-great?) aunt is currently residing in. It's apparently almost totally uninhabited, and the staff members are very enthusiastic.

So, of course, I asked if anyone had died yet.

I sort of like that my mother wasn't repulsed when I mentioned dancing/singing zombies. It gives me hope!
