First Stephen King book: Hmm... I think that it might've been `Salem's Lot or the Gunslinger...
Favorite Stephen King book: The Gunslinger. heart
Why it's my favorite book: I just.. love it. Somehow, King's portrayal of Roland, this lone gunslinger trying to make it through a world that has "moved on" is just something I can't seem to let go. I've read it six times in the past year, and will probably read it more sweatdrop
Favorite SK Novella: The Langoliers

Why: I love how it was so sorta confusing and cool
Other: umm on the internet a lot..softball...hanging with my friends reading (i'm reading Everythings Eventual right now) next i think i might read Needful Things..looks good or start the dark tower series.

[HACKED] Name:Steve (not really but that's what everyone calls me anyway) Fav Book:dreamcatcher (why do my favorite characters always die *curses toothpicks and their inventor*) Fav. movie: i don't know i guess it would probably be easier if you just randomly asked me if i like some movie. Rose Red was especially awsome though and that's about it. i'm slightly more interesting if you actually ask me questions on a further note i have never seen and or read IT and i never will. i have this clown thing. so don't even ask. and as much some of his books have made me actaully physically shudder when i read them i.e. dark half. i will not read IT sorry but i thought i just get that out now -shudders- damn clowns...i know how ya feel. i have a sign on my wall that says the only good clown is a dead clown...i saw IT, my god what a great actor, to make the monster in such a crappy movie so damn scary...wow

Favorite S.K. Book: Dark Tower Series, especially the first and last ones, the stand, bag of bones and needfull things. there are too many that i still haven't read, even though i've been a fan since i was 12 or so and now im 20.
why: they all have that great quality that makes you question reality, wonder if maybe the whole world isn't just getting thinner and thinnner all the time. (the short story Crouch End-sp- from nightmares and dreamscapes expresses that very well)
other stuff: also a huge rpg fan, love fantasy books, play d&d, basically a big nerd. i've just started my weapons collection(just 4 swords) and i've been working on a fantasy-ish series for the last couple years. im gonna try to get short stories published first.

Favorite SK Book: Possibly Rose Madder.
Why: I love the story, and I think it is written well, especially the character of Rose.
First King book: I don't really recall...probbly IT. Maybe the Talisman.
Other: I like reading and playing video games. I also play flute, and like geology.
Which reminds me: Shawshank Redemption is the best movie based on a King book or story, ever. =D

Why: I loved how it mimicked Dracula, and the sense of realness King gave to the unreal happenings of a vampire town.
Fav SK Short Story: Last Rung on the Ladder (IIRC the title)
Why: So touching, just long enough to balance suspense and interest.
Other: College senior, going to go to grad school for physics
