V For V Do you believe V had connections in the government and society? That he knew train conductors, truckers, security guards, store clerks, and others who enabled him? Now that you mention it, his connections with the government's systems makes me wonder what V was like and what he did before heading off to Larkhill. Was he also a political activist like Evey's parents? Did he once work for the government he eventually destroyed? Hmm....*ponders*

Relying on other people doesn't seem to be something V would do. It kind of seems like he might need help to get things done, but I'm not sure that he would want to risk anything. He couldn't trust Evey not to give things away. I don't think he would trust anyone but himself.

The question that most caught my attention most was "Do you think a little like V?" Answering you honestly would be a difficult matter. I suppose half the reason I'm drawn to V is becuse the way he thinks is so much of a haze. Can anyone really tell what he's going to do next, what he's really thinking, who he is? Is he a genius, or is he insane? Or both? I know I think like him politically. And I know that the frightening similarities between our society and his grow more evident each day. I see how totalitarian control is seeping into what we once admired as democracy. But do I think like him? Could I kill for what I beleive in? I don't know. I just don't know. Somehow I think I would'nt be able to do that. To look in their eyes, place a Violet Carson in their hand, and drive a knife into their heart. I guess in this way I'm more like Evey. Afraid. Do I think like him..Am I free in a way that He is? God, I hope so. I hope so.

V For V Then again, if all else fails I've been known to have amusing conversations with myself. Myself agrees though they question just how amusing I am. I suppose you realize this, but you do think, or at least talk a bit like him. Maybe it's a misconception from a few pages of online conversation, but perhaps more than a bit.

I must say I am rather enriched by your responses and hope that you are all reading into the philosophies of your guild mates in much the same way.

Ooh, this looks like fun.Quote: *If you were a political activist would you create an image for yourself by wearing a costume? What would it look like? Hmm. I'm not sure. Definitely something original and easily recognized. Mayhaps a type of clothing or symbol themed for my beliefs, like the Guy Fawks mask.Quote: *Are you satisfied with the government of the country you live in? Well, I'm not sure who is. I'm definitely not. Although, as I got older and finished the whole teenage identity stage, I started to realize how little my voice was in society. Just a tad bit passive of me, but there's not much I can do about the government. At least at this age. I just do my part in respecting others opinions and keeping myself in check about not getting too passionate about it.Quote: *What do you think about life; Coincidence or fate? Coincidence, eek it's confusing. The movie, and graphic novel have both influenced my views on fate and coincidence...but like everything else, I keep and open mind and make no judgments until I've experienced it. ((<_< After watching the movie though, my boyfriend and I would joke around by blaming everything on Fate. It's semi-amusing.))Quote: *Do you think about the world you live in in terms of right and wrong or do you think of it in terms of convenient or inconvenient? I do think of things as right or wrong. I have to remind myself though, that everyone has different perceptions of those, so everything doesn't have to fall in place all the time.Quote: *Could you ever stand up and fight for your opinion in an environment where almost everyone thinks differently or is too afraid to stand with you? If I fully believe that I am right, then yes. Personally though, I would not be bold enough to do it without fully knowing every aspect of the opinion.Quote: *Where do you see your country, politically, in 10 years? 20? Hmm, that's hard to say. Hopefully we'll be in a better respect with the other counties.Quote: *Are you just in this guild for the novelty or do you think somewhat like V does? I relate to the theme of the story much more than the awesomeness of the story itself. >_>

V For V If you were a political activist would you create an image for yourself by wearing a costume? What would it look like? I'm thinking no on the costume because, honestly, no one would take me serious in the real world. Maybe something less in your face, such as a trademark like a certain style of clothing or some type of symbol to represent my campaign. V For V Are you satisfied with the government of the country you live in? Well I live in the USA and basically everyone here hates the government, but I don't think Bush is all that bad. Sure he messes up quite a bit but what politician doesn't. Who's to say that they could do better if thrown in the same situation? V For V What do you think about life; Coincidence or fate? Well to start with I believe in God and I would really like to think of him as being more compassionate and loving than a sick sadistic puppet master. That being said I do not believe in fate because that means God is just using people as his play things. If fate is real then God automatically decides when you are born if you are going to heaven or hell. I believe God must give people a choice between living a good life or a bad life and an equal chance to go to heaven or hell. V For V Do you think about the world you live in in terms of right and wrong or do you think of it in terms of convenient or inconvenient? I'm more of a right or wrong type of person because to me it seems it would take one hell of a self centered person to only take the convenient path. Then again I'm not quite sure I understand this question. confused V For V Could you ever stand up and fight for your opinion in an environment where almost everyone thinks differently or is too afraid to stand with you? I would like to think I could do what I feel is right no matter others opinions, and up to now I have been able to fight for what I believe in (granted I am still very young). I believe I would do what is right but I would not try to convince others to see it my way and follow me. V For V Are you just in this guild for the novelty or do you think somewhat like V does? hmmm... well I don't like government in general. I don't like the corruption in it or the motivation for people to be in their high and mighty positions. For example (and this might sound very naive), most politicians only want to have the power that comes with being in government, and this leads them to corruption because they feel like they can do whatever they want (and in reality they often can). Politicians should have the country's best interests in mind and not just their personal agendas for money and power. I believe the government should not be so involved with people's personal lives. They should protect and serve the people without interferring too much. It makes no sense for the government to be involved in peoples' health and fitness or love life. I hate all forms of government but I also hate the idea of anarchy. I believe there is no 'good' government. All are corrupt and have problems. On the other hand I recognize the need for some order and government, otherwise the world would be rather unsafe to put it mildly. Basically there is no good option. Life isn't perfect, everything has its flaws and people just have to accept it and suck it up. 3nodding

V For V *Are you satisfied with the government of the country you live in? *No, I think America is pretty screwed up. The people, too, are to blame. They can't really stand up for themselves, and when they do, they just make a huge stink out of things.V For V *What do you think about life; Coincidence or fate? *"I, like God, do not play with dice and do not believe in coincidence."V For V *Do you think about the world you live in in terms of right and wrong or do you think of it in terms of convenient or inconvenient? *I think that life as of now is inconvenient for people who are knowledgeable and analytical. Most people these days just regurgitate what they hear on the television, and they only know how to take what others give them. So like I said, life has become rather inconvenient.V For V *Could you ever stand up and fight for your opinion in an environment where almost everyone thinks differently or is too afraid to stand with you? *I do. I'm generally the minority in any situation. I stand up for what I believe in and I don't let other people control me. Really, I'm an anarchist at heart. (Most people disagree with that, too. Ha ha. whee )V For V *Are you just in this guild for the novelty or do you think somewhat like V does? *As you can probably tell, I don't agree with the state of the world right now. I'm here because I think like V. I understand V and feel as he did. I've even adopted his 'personal motto'. "Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici." By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.
