Does anyone have an easy to make tiramisu recipe? Preferably one with as few ingredients as possible
wink Actually I have one in this book I bought recently. ::turn to page 741:: Ah here it is:
Serves 4
Ingredients:
arrow 1 cup mascarpone
arrow 1 egg, separated
arrow 2 tbsp plain yogurt
arrow 2 tbsp superfine sugar
arrow 2 tbsp dark rum
arrow 2 tbsp strong black coffee
arrow 8 ladyfingers
arrow 2 tbsp grated semisweet chocolate
1. Put the mascarpone cheese in a large bowl, add the egg yolk and yogurt and beat until smooth.
2. Whisk the egg white until stiff but not dry, then whisk in the sugar and fold into mascarpone mixture.
3. Spoon half of the mixture into 4 sundae glasses.
4. Mix together the rum and coffee in a shallow dish. Dip the ladyfingers into the rum mixture, break them in half, or into smaller pieces if neccessary, and divide among the glasses.
5. Stir any remaining coffee mixture into the remaining cheese and spoon over the top.
6. Sprinkle with grated chocolate. Serve immediately or chill until required.
