Hissing beneath her breath, she shuddered though withheld her emotions, staring the two down. She appreciated his defense, whether it be of her own life or another strikingly similar pirate, but listened closely. Would he accept this job, and brush up his reputation to kill a famed pirate, or would he turn it down and save her life?

"I... urh..." The man looked like he had nothing else to say.
"That's what I thought." White pushed the man back into his seat, and walked away. He stopped at the pirate's table, staring at her for a long moment. There were no words said, but he finally broke away and walked out the door, leaving his 'customer' and the pirate to themselves.

"'Ey, Whitey--" she cried, but to no avail; by the time she'd managed to call out, he was gone. Rising swiftly to her feet, she unsheathed her saber, staring the man in the eyes. "You... what th' 'ell d'you 'ave against me, ye ********' coward!?"

The 'customer' backed up, crying out in alarm. "He could do anything... and you, you're nothing! You stole my life! I hate... pirates..." All the while he continued backing up, back against the wall.

"Boy, I stole yer damn matieral goods; if anything, I taught ye a damn good lesson!" she snarled, saber resting against the man's chin. "Don't you DARE accuse me of nothin', slimy rat!"

"Don't call me a b***h, damnit!" she spat, glaring harshly at the man. Her grip on the weapon intensified, and she pushed the blade further. A slight trickle of blood rolled down the rough, stubbled chin of the man before her. "Ye ********' need t' apologize, or gimme a damn reason why ye deserve to live..."

"Take my best swing, ah? I need no swings t' murder ye..." she snickered, pulling back the saber. She took a moment to consider, before shaking her head as she fought back tears that stained her ruddy skin. "Goddamnit, accuse me when you know nothing!" Lunging forth, she swung the blade.

And blood flew, only... this time, it was White's. "Taking another life for insults... isn't justified." He glanced at his hand, which took the blow from the blade. Turning his hand, he grabbed the blade and threw it across the room, glaring at her.
"Get up, old coward. Thank whoever you pray to that your life was saved today." The man whimpered and yelled, stumbling out the door muttering nonsense.
White stayed, lowering his arm and letting the blood drip. He would get his point across.

".. White, what the bloody... " she gasped, leaping backwards a step and falling onto the table behind her. She watched the blood, the way it dripped and pooled below him; though a smaller wound, it was big enough to make an impact. She coughed a few times, staring at him, aghast, before she rose to her feet. "... White."

"No one. Should kill without a valid reason. And even then...." He glared at her fully, his eyes narrowed.

"How do you know I was gonna kill 'im?" she replied cooly, though the nerve was obvious as beads of sweat formed on her forehead. "... I know better'n anyone that y'need a ********' reason to kill. Even today, I know..." she hissed, glaring back. "It was a goddamn mistake, White. You've made 'em, 'aven't ye?"

"I don't want to talk about it." Unraveling the bandages, he rewrapped them in seconds, though the blood still flowed, a bit slower than before.
"If you want to fight someone, fight me. Because I can at least defend myself." He moved to walk outside.

Reaching down, she picked the saber off the floor, the quiet clank of metal sounding softly. "Then fight me, White," she muttered, falling in step behind him, "but not to the death."
