(May I join?)  Tavon/s battle card Tavon watched the young earth dragon sneak away from the high veiw point in his own cave. He was one of the only dragons who actually lived on this mountain year round. Most of the other dragons, were visiters or had to leave because of the cold. Tavon had a secret though, an underground hot spring he had found. It had kept him warm, and it was the only water source, so much prey came to drink from it. Even though it was hot, it still quenched one's thirst. It had been a while since a dragon had been worthy enough to see the mountains true treasure. He chuckled...then said a few words, making him bled more in with the rock and snow, not invisable, but difficult to see. He silently followed the earth dragon deeper into the mountain's heart.

(Sure, nothing's stoppin' ya! ^^)
Shoujo walked slowly into the other cave, noticing that the other dragons of the tour hadn't noticed. The rock walls formed a huge chamber, stalagtites hanging from the cieling in mysterious shapes, stalagmites growing from the cave's ground, reaching to meet the stalagtites. The source of the dim light remained unknown, for as she walked into the cave, it had disappeared, she figured it was just some illusion. Shoujo paused between steps, the scent of another dragon hung in the air, turning, she couldn't see anything because of how dark the cave had become because of how far she had come. Closing her eyes and focusing, small drops of blood rand down her scales from the markings on her pelt and began to glow. Even so, there wasn't any other dragons in sight, huh, odd...

Tavon silently laughed at the young dragons puzzlement. "Well, go on!" He chided. Still invisable, amused by the earth dragons attemps to see what was going on. "I suggest you find out what the glow is, and get back to your tour. Or do I have to guide you to it? It's just around that bend." He said.

Shoujo looked astounded, at the same amused at the male voice from behind her. "I'm sure this is pretty entertaining for you," she laughed nervously. "Now let's get to the point, why are you following me?" she turned back to the direction she had been walking and continued. The small chibi wings twitched once on her back, as she took a deep breath, then went around the curb.

Tavon was never impressed by anything. But this youngsters bravery and stubborness was like non he'd ever seen in another dragon. He continued to follow her around the bend, and stopped when he saw the earth dragon staring up at a faintly pulsing light. He realished the sight. Normally, very few dragons would be able to come here once, much less twice. He remembered his own request he had made to the mountain heart many years ago. He had been but a fledgling. This was what he had said, "I want to be the greatest sorcerer in the world!" And his wish had been granted. He could call lightning down from the sky, make the earth move, speak with other animals and even plants. He saw what the young earth dragon was seeing now. He called out to the dragon, in a very soft voice, "Do not be afraid. I cannot tell you what you must do, YOU must figure it out for yourself." He waited for the earth dragon to figure out what she had to do.

Shoujo glanced behind her from the corner of her eye, slightly annoyed that she could not see the dragon behind, but secretly relieved that there at least was another dragon with her. She stared at the glowing orb, unsure of what to do, but something in her mind drew her closer to the light, she touched the small rays of the light with the tip of her nose, closing her eyes as she thought of the mountain and the pleasure of flying.

Tavon nodded silently, then prepared for what would come. A dazzling brilliant light filled the cavern. Finding the darkest cracks, and making them glow with the light. He slammed his eyelids shut, if Tavon had not been prepared, his eyes could have literally sizzled right out. He could not see the earth dragon, but he knew she was there. Surrounded by the light, ones bad deeds were washed away...and the chance to redeem ones self, was open. Tavon wondered what the young earth dragon had wished for. He knew something from seeing her mind, that she wanted to fly, but he had not gotten the whole story. He waited, as the light died down, he would see what the dragon had become.

Shoujo was certainly stunned as a bright, warm light suddenly spread throughout the cavern, and took an uneasy step back. She didn't know why, but the light had an unusual pleasant feel to it, one of purity and sincerety. Her surrounding turned to nothing but white, as she felt a tingling sensation on her chibi wings. Turning, she gasped as the ghost-like image of large feathery wings enveloped on her own as the light cleared and the image faded away with it. She found herself back in the cave, the light seemingly had disappeared, "Wh-What was that?"

 *Mean while some where on the outside and higher Up on the mountain soft sounds, warm, playful, but hard to make out could be herd... it seemed a bit hard to think the sound could be made by the bitter Wind....*

Tavon quietly asked, "Did you feel it?" He had seen only the surprized look on the earth dragons face as the warm light had filled the cavern. The wish the dragon had made, and what she had seen, was for her, and her only. Unless she chose to tell him.

"Yes... But what was it?" the young dragon was still confused, she felt as she had before, perfectly normal. Certainly this dragon who knew more of the mountain would know of this bright light.

*Deep and father down the cave where the small ganthering of dragons where a deep dark glowing color, almost blood red in color could be seen... but there was no sound....*

Turning suddenly, Shoujo sniffed the air, blood? Out of all earth dragons, blood-crazed and suffering earth dragons were known to have the keenest sense of smell for blood. She glanced back at where she guessed the sound of the other dragon had come from and went further into the cave, tucking in her small wings as she crawled into a small opening that led to a smaller chamber. She squeezed into the next room, which was bigger than it had originally looked from the tunnel and looked curiously at the red light.

Tavon sensed it, not smelled. He had earth dragon in him, but his intellect felt it first. It was a feeling of unease, and it was getting more powerfull, he saw the earth dragon slip into the next room, and muttered a spell to concial her from anyone but him. He did the same to himself and followed her deeper into the lair of the mountain.
