Personality: Though many speculate her to be an ex-Gryffindor at first glance, she has every aspect of a Slytherin. Past events brought her to be cautious of other people, thankfully being gifted with wit and a hightend sense of people's inner-turmoil, and uses it to her advantouge. She can range from being dead manipulative to playfull bander, pulling the strings behind people who get in her way. She's feircly strong-willed in everything important to her and uses her knowledge and skills to get out of tricky situations. Though this may sound cruel, Kiri is always strong-hearted and self confident, being somewhere in the middle of honest and blunt and looked upon in many different ways. It may be perceived as a mirical that she got a teaching degree, being so seemingly spontaneous with a hyeractivity that could rival a four year old as well as a mind thats stapeled to the darkest depths of the gutter. Take that back- Her mind is in the sewer, if she's lucky it gets in the gutter. In short, she's a hyperactive, manipulative, lovible skanky little smart a**.

History: Everything was in perfect order. Perfect looks, perfect intellegence, perfect behavour, until her brother 'broke'. It was then Karen saw how twisted the world really was, and how emotions where much more important then being perfect. In desperation to save her brother's humanity, Karen turned against her parents and kept Alair away from them as well, being only 9 but strong and mature. But she couldn't protect him with sheer confidence and spite, so she did the next best thing. To keep her parents away from brainwashing Alair anymore she threatend them with secrets and lies, giving all her remaining compasion to her brother and threatening any one who got in her way into fixing her innocent little brother. When his perpatraitor went in for a second assult, Kiri was there and, in her semi-chaotic rage, she drop kicked him, leaving him unconcious. From then on they where inseperable, Kiri being Alair's strength and she put all her effort into fixing his conscious back up to make him a normal person again. While she was in her starting phases of 'betraying' her parents, she got into many different muggle trends just to piss them off.
Since Alair became independent, Kiri has spent most of her time traveling around, finally deciding to get her teaching degree when she was 23 and obtaining a job at Hogwarts shortly after Alair as the Muggle Studies teacher. She uses her vast knowledge of popular muggle trends world-wide in her teachings, and even adds in odd querks, like dressing up as a different stereotype every day of the school year. Her influence has brought a new interest of muggles to the wizarding school.
Other: She's bisexual, though mainly into girls and only into guys when they're with other guys. She loves the japanese culture, and is obsessed with anime/manga as well as their food. Kiri is fluent in Japanese, Russian and German as well as English and has a wide vocabulary, often taking pleasure in insulting 1st years in Shakespear-style speach so they don't know what on earth she's saying. Her favorite food is Lime Mochi and she enjoys dressing in the punk/rock or flamboyantly mismatch atair. She has a magical tattoo on her back; it was inked on like a muggle tattoo in the form of black and white wings, then she got it enchanted to move at will. They can extend to six feet long and are see-threw when they leave her flesh, which is just for show. Kiri often flirts with fellow female teachers.

Name: Tipsy the House Elf
House*: None. That'd be weird. o__o
Age: 43
Appearance: Tipsy is about two feet tall and only weighs thirty-two pounds. She has large purple eyes and a few brown hairs stick up out of her head. She wears a small grey pillowcase that has a few stains on it from her cooking duties (she has a hand-sewn pocket on this pillowcase. x3). Her skin is of a tarnished tan coloring and her ears are quite large.
Pet: A lint ball named Fubsy that Tipsy keeps on her person at all times. (Tipsy is often seen muttering things to him when she is alone or when she thinks she is alone.)
Wand: She doesn't have one. It isn't allowed. o__O It'd be kinda scary if she did, though, considering she's more or less crazy.
Personality: Tipsy tends to be a bit distracted at times when she is needed, but she always gets her 'chores' done at the best of her abilities. Having worked at Hogwarts most of her life, she has become quite curious on what the students do on their days off and she likes to wander about the school during holidays and breaks to find out. The headmaster, being as nice as he is, allows her to do so as long as she promises to get all her duties finished first.
Because of her shyness, Tipsy likes to walk around but not be seen (though she isn't very good at /not/ being seen). She's not very good at interacting, either, and one might say that she seems a bit strange once they actually get to know her. She keeps a lint ball that she named 'Fubsy' in her hand-sewn pocket on her pillowcase. She claims he is her pet and she has to keep an eye on him at all times or he might get loose and wreak havoc on the entire castle.
Family: Mubblerfibs was her father, but she hardly knows anything about him because he left to serve at another witch's house before she was born. Wicklersod is her mother, but she died several years ago in the service of the school. Tipsy also has a brother named Flobs, but she doesn't know where he went off to.
Strengths (magic wise!): Tipsy has some minor magic that she can use in self-defense, and she has some cleaning magic of her own. How else would she get those nasty messes made by tricky spells of students off the walls and floor? Having to be in many places throughout the day to clean, Tipsy uses her special 'teleport' powers to get to areas faster. It'd be rather difficult to clean a school that has more floors than she can count in just one day, every day, without them.
Weaknesses (same): She's rather prone to large messes. If she sees a mess that fills an entire hallway, she might freak out because such a mess will not satisfy the headmaster. (She also has a fear of cats, but that's not really a weakness. x3)
What's your story?: Like her mother and her mother's mother...etc, Tipsy works on the Hogwarts grounds, tending to the messy needs of the students. She likes it here and has never thought of leaving.
Past education: Her mother always told her to fold the blankets three times and to never waste soap. You can never have enough, you know. ;O

Elaboration- Professor Nienna has long, curly strands of wheat blond hair and swimming, bright blue and green eyes. Her skin is naturally olive in color, and her frame is slender and average in height. Nienna's ears are pierced, a multiple pierce in the right one on the upper portion of her ear with a silver loop. Her left hand ring finger has a strip where the skin is lighter than the rest.
She always dresses practical to her class.
Personality: A very kind soul, Nienna connects well with her students on both an educational level and a personal level. If something is going on with her students, she usually knows about it. When in her presence, one is gifted with a sense of ease that seems to elude many other teachers. She's very easy to talk to, and when she feels as though it is needed she will offer an opinion. However, no matter what she is a professional first and a friend later. When in the halls, or seen outside of a class environment, she is usually smiling. Also, despite her obvious beauty, she is quite modest and unaware of how the rest of the world sees her. All in all, she is friendly, intelligent, focused, and sweet.
Pets: A silver kitten with blue eyes named Mercury. Mercy for short.

History: She grew up with her two half blooded parents in a wizard community, in a very financially stable environment. Never into sports, Nienna threw herself into learning the astronomy books even before she reached school. At Hogwarts, she was sorted into the Ravenclaw house where she settled in quite easily with the considerably 'geeky' bunch. Always, she was a large step ahead of her class and ended up as more of a teacher's helper than a student. After finishing her seventh year, Nienna went to work at the ministry to further her education.
There, she met a Joel, who would later become her husband at the age of twenty. During their marriage, Joel was what could be considered verbally abusive. They argued a lot (Nienna, more submissive tended to remain calm most of the time) and thus their marriage was a little rocky. Wasn't every one? In their third year, Nienna quit her job at the ministry to stay at home. Despite everything, they were attempting to have a baby and Joel won that particular 'discussion'. By their fourth and final year of marriage, Joel sent her reeling back to reality by punching her with a closed fist.
She divorced him the next day, using her knowledge of the system to protect her inheritance, and then applied for a job at Hogwarts. Even after receiving the job, Joel still hounds her with letters sent by owl and by sometimes popping up in her fireplace.
On these nights, she is considerably depressed because even though he was an abusive jerk, she misses what he used to be.

Appearance: A thin man with pale skin and beautiful violet eyes. He is about 5' 8" tall, having long arms to go along wth his body. Running from the top of his head is beautiful silver hair which resembles unicorn hair. He usually dress in a black velvet coat and long black pants. He wears a necklace with a disembodied house elf hand connecting to the chain. He is a rather handsome man and used to be quite famous at the ministery.
Personality: He is a particularly nice person who is always trying to make conversation with the other teachers. He loves to help those in need of help, but he does assign a rather lot of difficult homework assignments. He is very cunning and slick, almost about to convince anybody to give him something.
Pets: None for sure, but there are rumors about him owning an illegal dragon.

History: He used to work at the Ministy of Magic in the department of Detecting Underage Magic. He resigned his post and took a year off, then decided to join the Hogwarts Staff.

Appearance: Nicole has long, almost straight, strawberry blonde hair, falling halfway down her back, with long bangs down to her chin. Her eyes are green with a slight blue tinge. She stands only 4’9” tall. Her skin is pale and freckled, though otherwise free of blemishes. She wears three earrings in each ear: one at the bottom, and two in the cartilage. They are all studs of various colours; generally they are mismatched, and occasionally she wears six different colours at once. She feels this shows her uniqueness.
Personality: Nicole is fairly outgoing when she needs to be, but not overly so. She prefers a small circle of best friends, and chooses them wisely. Because of this, she values her friends very much and would give her life to protect them. She is generally level-headed, and thinks things through before she acts, but on the spur of the moment she occasionally does something that would not normally be acceptable to her. For this reason, she is frequently easily seduced by attractive, witty guys, if they know how to play her. She looks weak because of her size, but has a lot of spunk and is convinced that she is tough. She is very athletic, and enjoys jogging around the grounds in her spare time. She is still confused as to why she was sorted into Ravenclaw, as she believes she is far from smart. History: Nicole grew up in Sweden under the guidance of both her parents and a brother senior to her by six years. After Nicole turned eight, her mother (Kaelin) acquired a job in the Ministry of Magic. From then on, Kaelin was rarely at home, as she stayed closer to the headquarters except on Christmas and Nicole’s birthday. Nicole became very close with her father (Henrik), as her brother (Mikael) had left for Hogwarts three years earlier. Once Nicole began to show a tomboyish side, Henrik decided that she needed a female influence regularly around. Because of this, they both moved to England when Nicole was ten, in order to live with her mother. This did not last long, though, because a year later Nicole was sent to Hogwarts. Nicole did not excel in her studies, in fact was failing miserably, mostly because of her lack of self-discipline in doing homework, and wanted to drop out, only to have Henrik make her stay. He told her he had faith in her that she could do better. With this blessing from her father, her favourite person in the world, Nicole continued trying to get good grades with renewed effort. She became a little better, passing her courses by at most ten percent by the end of her first year, having put forth just enough effort to pass. She has continued this trend throughout her years at Hogwarts.
Other (Fears, loves, crushes, etc.): Nicole is still very attached to her father and writes him often, though tends to mention her mother very little. She seems to harbour some ill feelings toward Kaelin for being virtually out of her life for two years. Nicole has an intense phobia of rats and other such rodents, which is partly why she keeps a cat. It makes her feel a little safer to have a good mouser around. She can of course speak fluent Swedish, yet because her mother spoke English fluently, Nicole was taught it as a second language basically from birth. Because of this, she has no accent when speaking either language. Her favourite colour is green, and her favourite food is sweet-pickled herring, preferably served with meatballs and fried potatoes as in a smörgåsbord, going back to her Swedish background.

Appearance:
Standing at a height of 5’9”, Toby’s appearance isn’t extremely attractive, simply average. His features, rather ordinary and non-descript, lean on the soft side. His complexion is light, with minimal blemishes and his hair is of a dark brown, cut nicely short. His eyes are of a deep brown and his voice, a high tenor. His body is by no means fit, as Toby despises physical activity, but his weight is kept healthfully in tune (mostly by his overwhelming stress).
When not in school robes (which isn’t often, as he rarely leaves the common room during off hours), he is dressed in plain clothes. A t-shirt, with a warm hooded sweater, over a pair of jeans suit Toby well.
Personality:
Upon first glance, and to those who don’t know him, Toby appears to be a perfect student, but somewhat cold in demeanour. He seems unusually dedicated to his studies and is freakishly serious, being outwardly shy and quiet. Along with his hard, exterior personality, Toby is sometimes cynical (opting for sarcasm, at times), but this is simply a mechanism that he employs as a sort of defence. To his close friends, though, Toby is much more comfortable. He is extremely insecure and worries constantly about trivial things. Some say he is a perfectionist; in his own mind, he is obsessive-compulsive and an absolute control-freak. He is his own worst enemy and applies immense pressure on himself, which results in heaps and heaps of stress. He hates attention from anyone he doesn’t know, but craves attention from those who catch his fancy. He’s rather cowardly, extremely frightened of anything remotely daring or “fun” (a pansy, his idea of fun would probably be learning). He prefers calmer, more refined activities. Externally, he seems like a prude, but he really does have a suppressed wild ‘social’ side. Because of his timidity, he prefers more peaceful approaches to things (he just wants to be taken care of, relinquished of all his worries), however, he has been known to become somewhat dominant in unusual circumstances. Toby is also somewhat secretive and is always in a state of thought. His face turns stoically blank when he escapes into these common pensive states, which makes him look unhappy, adding to the idea that he's always mad at someone, or other.

History:
Toby was born into an ordinary family, to two mixed-blood parents. His mother, a kind witch, spoiled Toby somewhat over the years, which is the cause of some conflict in the family. He apparently favours his mother; his father being a strict man, whom Toby finds hard to deal with at times. As a child, he travelled to and resided in many places. He spent a large portion of his childhood in Canada and briefly lived in Australia, before returning to the UK to attend Hogwarts.
As a result of this moving around, Toby had few close friends and entered Hogwarts as an extremely socially awkward student. It was not until after he settled into the Hogwarts student community that Toby had developed friendships and other relationships. However, he is still rather quiet in comparison to his peers and is rarely found socializing with those he doesn’t know well.
In the past few years, he has come to the realization that he is gay and has found it very difficult to cope with the situation. Nobody knows about his ‘predicament’ and Toby is extremely worried about what to do. As he thinks about it more and more, the proper thing to do seems to be to tell someone; if not everyone, at least his close friends. The effects of his coming out could cause drastic repercussions, repercussions Toby isn’t sure he’s ready for. However, as the issue refuses to be ignored, Toby has found that he cannot deny the truth.
Other:
Some (but not all) of Toby’s outer traits do carry-over to his inner personality and personal outlook. For example, he really is cynical, but this transforms more into pessimism, than anything. He is a little emo, but not in the truest sense of the word. He has no crushes as of yet; he’s still getting used to the whole ‘I like boys’ thing. However, this will most likely change because Toby’s fancy is caught rather easily by anyone who’s willing to give him some caring attention (it doesn’t hurt if the boy’s good-looking too). Toby is extremely claustrophobic (comes with the control issue) and is terrified by the very idea of airplanes. In general, he is afraid of confinement, heights, speed, publicity, violence, failure and death. Toby has a secret obsession with chick-flicks and other subtle girlish things, although he hides it well, liking to think he’s rightly masculine. His hobbies include writing and the strange muggle notion of ‘science’. He carries an Oxford Dictionary of Current English everywhere he goes, as he finds the language extremely inspiring.

Personality:
Miranda is a cruel and cold person. Generally if someone talks to her or makes themselves known she glances them up and down, if she likes them she might talk to them, if not. Well, she gives them an icy glare and hopes they get the message. Miranda never really made many friends and even those who she talked to she felt no real compassion for they were just something to entertain her for a while. She does not like to make permanent ties or make herself feel vulnerable in any way. She is very smart but doesn't show it all the time

Miranda grew up in Muggle London in a large mansion. She is an only child and very spoilt. Her mother died when she was five and her dad never dared refuse her anything. If she does not like something, she throws a tantrum until it is changed. Going to Hogwarts has only rubbed off a few corners she is still very spoilt and cannot share or help anyone. She isn’t really willing o make friends and was a bit embarrassed to be so spoiled but she couldn’t stop. Instead, she put on a cold exterior and stayed a brat on the inside.

Personality: She is a very kind hearted person most of the time. she can be a little harsh when she is very passionate about something very serious. she is a bit of a flirt on occasion. She will usually be there to support people no matter what. She is very positive. ALthough she had fantastic sight and grace on the pitch, she does not off it. She is a little clumsy and alot of the time can't see whats right in front of her nose.

History: She grew up in a ordinary muggle home, with a few exceptions. He father was a Wizard, her mother a muggle. Their family was always 'normal' but the neighbors new their was something funny going on, nothingthey could put their fingers on or that seemed to matter that much though. Her family used to live in the country, but she something odd happened at school and they had to move to London. Their they lived without episodes for a long time. After her fifth year, although she loved her family, she wanted to be more apart of the wizarding world. She now lives as a permanent resident in one of the rooms above the leaky cauldron, at least over the summer.
Other: She is very good in Charms, Potions, Astronomy, and DADA. She is also a good flyer. She is not very good with magical creatures, their is usually lots of screaming from her end. She does not do well in things like History of magic, Ancient runes, and other things which are rather 'boring'.She is bi, however, is usually a little more into girls.
