Rageadon was finally ready in his stylish(back then kind of stylish) black suit. He made his way down to the front of the palace, armed of course. He was to escort the new bride around the palace. He had not seen her yet, but was eager to meet her. He saw a carriage pull up to the palace and looked down from the top step. Some of the servants gave a warm friendly welcome to the parents as they stepped out and guided them into the palace. The parents looked mesmerized as they set their eyes upon the beautiful palace. The woman who was to be the 28th wife seemed a little reluctant comming out from the carriage. To Rageadon, she looked quite young. He wouldn't have been surprised if she was still in her teen years. He silently dissapproved. He approached the young lady.

"Good evening m'lady. Welcome to Salimar's humble home. I shall be your escort for this evening." He said as he bowed.

The carriage ride to Salimar's home was less than wonderful. Nobody talked. Nobody did anything. How impressing.

They got there eventually. The Salamore's admired the castle in a stated of admiration. Venus look down at her feet, and spat on her dress. She felt like puking right there, but she wanted to wait until the ceremony.

"Good evening m'lady. Welcome to Salimar's humble home. I shall be your escort for this evening."

Venus looked up as she got out of the carriage. The man was no more than his late twenties, but nice looking all the same. Not her type though. She frowned.

"Escort me all you wish," she said dryly. "But I'll just run off at some point." She waved her arm dismissingly towards the coach men helping her out, she didn't need it.

She scolded towards the gates of Hell, or at least to hers.

Rageadon shook his head in understanding.

"This woman must not have wanted to marry Salimar either..." he thought as he walked behind her storming into the palace.

"So... Tell me, what do you see in Salimar? Do you have any future plans you wish to carry out?" he asked as he caught up to her stride.

Dear Jessie,
I have just confirmed that Rageadon has the potential of being one of the ATF. I spied on him earlier today, and it turns out that he hates Salimar as much as you do. A woman he loves was forced to marry Salimar, and I can guess that that is why he works for a Tyrant like him. In their conversation that I eavesdropped in, he brought up the ATF and sounded like he wanted to join. I will approach him about the subject sometime soon and report back when I have news.
-Chek-ยป

"Good news then!" said Derick
"Yeah, Rageadon seems like an intelligent, tactical kind of guy. If I were in his position, I'd probably do the same thing." said Jessie.
"As would have I." said Derick.

The both of them were walking though one of the underground tunnels towards Urnaih. Both were dresssed in the latest fashion, and planned to attend the wedding as guests. Chek didn't know, but they planned on meeting Rageadon. They needed allies, and Rageadon seemed like the most ideal person to join them in their goal. Time was not to be wasted.

They emerged out from their tunnel network, and into the sewers. Soon, they reached and opening and climbed out.

"So how do we know which man is Rageadon?" asked Derick.
"We'll find Chek first then."
"Got'cha."

They reached the palace and looked around. They saw many people entering the building. They approached a guard and showed him their fake invitation. The guard was fooled and they were let through.

"Ooh! Hey! Can we stop by the snack table first?" Derick asked excitedly. He sometimes liked to act like a kid and immature. Jessie rolled her eyes.
"We have to find Chek first. There's plenty of time for food later at dinner." she said.
"Aww... Ok." he replied.

They walked around the palace, pretending to admire things, when really they were making mental notes about the structure.

"Jessie?? Derick??" called someone from behind. It was Chek.
"Ah! There you are." said Derick.
"What are you doing here? Didn't you get my reports?" he asked, a little bit confused.
"Yes, we did. So that's why we came." said Jessie as she looked around to see if anyone was listening, in the 2nd floor hallway they were in.
"We're interested in Rageadon you've been talking about. If he wants to meet me, I think it's time to come face to face." whispered Jessie.
"Ok. I will asked him to meet you after the wedding. Just don't act too suspicious." said Chek.
"Don't worry, we know how to handle ourselves. Just remember, if things get bad, don't rake our side. If Rageadon refuses the offer, we'll still need you as an insider." said Jessie.
Check nodded, saluted and resumed his normal duty.
"Alright! Lets go to the main hall and mingle." said Derick slyly. They both decended the stairs.

(( of course not. Welcome ^^ ))

Venus started walking slower along side the man, nd laughed harshly at his question. "See in him? Please, the man's a human weasel. This is a forced marriage." She spat again.

"And don't think this is how I normally act. I just have problems when I'm angry," she added with a smile. "As for future plans... I've been thinking of ways to get out of this city. Out of this place. Out into the great unknown."

((Sorry this is a late post...have been spending time with my boyfriend.))

~Kaira stood near the bar she worked in, "man it's getting cold now." She pulled her leather trechcoat around herself a little more and sighed at it's warmth. "I just hope that no-one gets caught this night." "Who are you talking about?" A young man said, "oh nothing....just atlking about someone who I have heard about."

He nodded then made his way into the bar. Kaira sighed and followed him in. "Ok I guess I should get to work again..." She sighed as she looked around her dark purple eyes scanning all the next faces, "oh goody more people to oggle at me." She said to herself. She picked up a tray and set to work quickly, the more quick she worked the faster she could get home, so she thought.~

Rageadon laughed loudly. This new girl sure had spirit.

"A forced marriage... Let me guess, your parents said it was for your own good right?" he chuckled. "Don't worry... Some of his wives were like that too. They were just like you. When Salimar paid attention to one of them more than the other wives, that one woman was fustrated. Just let that time pass, and you'll see how much benefit you can really gain from it. You can have anything you want! Or are you the kind of person who would give up everything for true love? Or... Maybe love doesn't matter to you? Are you the kind of person who would give up everything for freedom?"

Venus's eyes widened. "I'd give anything to be free of here." She stopped in place, and lowered her head. "I... wanna know why....." She couldn't quite put her thoughts into words.

She began stroking the sides of her eyes, around the markings. She wondered why all of her family had them. Not even they knew what they meant. But who cared, really? It bothered Venus, ever since she was a young child.

She looked back up towards the man, and flashed a smile. "As for, love," she added, "I have every intention to find the right man... somday.

"By the way, do you have a name?"
PostPosted: Sat Sep 11, 2004 4:32 pm

Rageadon nodded in understanding.

"My name is Rageadon, lady Venus. Pleased to meet you. I have a feeling things will become more interesting now that you're here." chuckled Rageadon. "So you'd give anything to be free hm? We'll see..." He sensed that the girl had a lot of potential to go far with her kind of determination.

"Hey... Let's make a deal then, between you and I." said Rageadon in a whisper. "I want to get out of here too. Freedom is constantly on my mind. If any of the two of us find a way, we tell each other how. What do you say?"

She smirked. "Of course."

"And being one of Sailmar's wives," she added, "who knows what I can find." Venus cracked her knuckles and stretched. "but we'd need more allies. Two people is not enough to escape."
PostPosted: Sat Sep 11, 2004 5:15 pm

"Heh... Already planning to escape this early? Believe me... I've been planning it for over 4 years now. However, I feel that we may have results soon. I..."
Rageadon wasn't sure he should share the information he had just yet. He would wait and make sure there would be a way before saying anything. He didn't want to give the girl any false hopes.
"I'll tell you later on when I know anything. For now, act pleased to marry Salimar. Otherwise... You two are going to get off on a bad start. Salimar hates that kind of attitude. Trust me, I know." he said.
"But tell me... Do you have any allies? Any friends who are willing to still contact you now that you are here?"

"I guess I'll have to," She replied to Rageadon. "Wouldn't want this to be more of a painful relationship than it already will be."

She twirled around, and continued. "Allies... not really. I used to have a pen-pal, her name's Raniya. I haven't heard from her in about a year, but I know she wants out too. She's a very, very strong fighter from what she says. She even made my axe." She stopped, and sighed.

"I hope they didn't find it. I smuggled it in my luggage..."
PostPosted: Sun Sep 12, 2004 10:49 am

Rageadon laughed again.

"You sure do come prepared hm? An axe in your luggage... Don't worry, I'll take care of that for you later on. However, I'm going to have to stop you if you plan on beheading Salimar. So don't try anything weird." said Rageadon seriously. He actually couldn't wait for someone to kill the Tyrant, but if Salimar was going to be killed, Rageadon would be the one to do it.

"So Raniya is a blacksmith? Where does she live?" he asked.

She laughed. "I'm not that stupid. To much security to assassinate Salimar. As for my friend, she lives in Central City. She lives a hard life, but she's so strong. I envy her."
