The Cynical Pirate
Based on a true emotion.

Commentary:
Bah, it looks much better in real life, but I had to scan to organize it. Also, I had to use some effects to get rid of the smudges. So many sacrifices... You may also notice that despite tracing each scene over and over, they look different. Bah, I need to learn how to do these things without a drawing tablet.

And this was made to bring me some comfort.

And yes, the name was taken off of Psicosis.

I'm making this through blood-shot eyes. I'll deliver another comic eventually. No further mention except that I don't really care about the facts.

Ninja
That was hilarious. Poking fun at who you think are mules in the company. A part of sheer genius. Good job Ryan.

Commentary:
Needless to say, a lot of this deals with backstage politics in exaggeration but with subliminal messages that most of you won't understand but is still fun to read. I know a few people may complain and whine like a diva to me, but not everyone is going to be happy. <--Subliminal messages!

And the transmission layout is based on Metal Gear Solid 3.

Note: *Tchk* is my attempt to mimic static noise. And the comic seems rather incomplete at the end. No real punchline. Guess I'll add a part two later.

More subliminal messaging and joking around. There's also a lot of metaphors being used. Even if you don't understand any of it, it's still fun to read I suppose.

Note: The numbers have meaning as well. Kind of.

Comments from other people:

I should make my own little thing. I mean, if Ryan can basically put s**t out in the open and "light fires", I guess I can only add more fire.

Anyway, I'm at cross roads right now.

I need to decide something important.

Should I make a comic that involves a story that involves in-depth analysis of life, metaphorical meaning, and crazy action with drama that makes sense at some points and doesn't at others?

Advantage: Bettering my art, providing a story to follow, character fandom, insight, wrestling moves being used, interesting pieces of how I view life, and emotional moments. This would also revolve around religion heavily and how society treats the individual. That stuff. Deep stuff.

Disadvantage: Struggle to keep up with all the drawing, more work, art will undoubtedly change but start out pretty bad, people will be frustrated if the comic stops and must wait for the next "page", might lose effect it should have when read altogether, and depression if I can't do things right.

Or, should I make a comic that is basically random, has bits of funny points and carries similar humor to my recent comics?

Advantage: It's just a fun read, no committments, less work, betters art at an easy pace, creates fandom of author rather than characters, still shows interesting pieces of how I view life but is not applied like it would in the other comic, the effect stays within each "page", and I can still make fun of people in the guild.

Disadvantage: Can/probably will run out of jokes to talk about, will slack off much more with this, hard to find any place to like a character, no drama, no excitement, no action, no story, and no wrestling moves. Oh, and the views on life will be more casual than put to action. Not very deep compared to other comic.

Messing around with various comic techniques right now and I've finally learned how to use speech bubbles. All I need to work on is art. As you can see the left leg is a bit messed up. But it's a test so no worries.

Commentary:
The drawing looks great in real life, but once you scan it up obvious problems occur. Oh well, nothing that a few modifications won''t do. The characters are Kari and Clyde. Despite how they''re dressed, they aren''t from modern times exactly. Must ink some time, but when I ink drawings get ruined. Bah.

Commentary:
Why do women have breasts? If you're Blasko, Darkfyre, or Killa Kal, don't answer that. Breasts are the hardest things to draw on a woman's body. Always takes me hours to decide how to go about doing it. Bah. This entire sketch took around three hours because it was difficult to decide what to do. I was pretty mad when I messed it up with the inking. So from this day on, no more inking. I spent about an hour to decide how to fix it up and went with cutout. It's all I could do for such a horrible drawing. The real struggle is the elbow/hands of the girl. Oh well, to be able to deliver drawings on an almost daily basis means I'm getting closer and closer... Just need to modify the design of the girl. It's too plain as you can see compared to the guy.

Commentary:
I'll admit this seems uncharacteristic of me. But I'm willing to make fun of a lot of things using a lot of methods. As long as it reflects some kind of actual meaning to it. Meanings of which I refuse to explain though. That'd take away the fun of the comic. A majority of you guys will only be enjoying this one (or not) from one leve, and maybe one or two of you will enjoy it on a higher level. Oh well.

Oh, and I decided to go with a comic featuring set characters. Each character has a story that has pretty much already happened and they live past the aftermath of each of their tales. Pretty much, it'll be random funny, but the characters such as Clyde (guy in this comic) and Kari (girl in this comic) each have some kind of storyline they've already lived. You learn that on the way. I decided to do this because if I ever get busy, there'd be no story to end. And if I do start an actual story, chances are the effect of it will be meaningless unless you read it all at once.

Oh and I rushed the shading a lot. It shows up too and is pretty mangled up. The art itself is really experimental. This entire thing is experimental. So if it looks a bit sloppy, it'll get better in time. I would have finished this better if this whole Kid Chaos vs Yuri Yurievich match got finished sooner. Have to talk to Tust still...

Commentary:
I am truly tired from my trip to Los Angeles, but it was just what I needed to refresh myself. I'm still fairly touched by the funeral and the funeral service, but it'll pass. For once in my life I actually began connecting with families. Though I still don't see myself as a big family guy. I'll address that in a comic later... Anyway, six hours in a bumpy car I was able to better my art. This whole Undertaker/Angle thing was made by just memory, so I'm amazed at how well I was able to do this. Though it still has a lot of flaws and some unproportional parts. I'll live with it. I'll upload a comic later.

Name: Mr. Sin
Powers: Infinite increases in speed, agility, power, etc. And believes it is borrowed from God, though many hold the strong belief that he is merely a mutant with the ability to increase his physical abilities through his sheer willpower.
Weapons: Forgiveness(Small) and Damnation(Big).
Background: He is a man who wields the blades of God and believes himself to be God's representation. Many feel he is unwell though he does seem to be very sane in conversation. His blade Forgiveness is used to forgive others of their sins and Damnation is used to send them to hell. However, regardless of which is used, he must kill himself. This is why he openly marks himself as a sinner, personally volunteering to go to Hell in the name of God. He never asks the lord to forgive him.

Commentary:
My first non-anime drawing. Though if I took the nose away it probably would be an anime drawing. The evolution of it is pretty interesting. I meant for him to become a grim reaper/phantom but instead changed him into a ninja missing a limb and then changed him into this. I had to erase the arms a lot and spent most of the time thinking of a pose for him. I went ahead with this and it took around 40 minutes to sketch and a few hours to finalize. The drawing I last posted actually only took around 45 minutes. Which isn't bad since I've been steadily getting better. Usually it takes me four hours a day minimum to get in a good sketch, so I'm happy with the result except for the lettering, I'm bad at writing. Comic is coming.. I just need to scan it and set it up. Should be a lot better looking than the last one.

Commentary:
Finally finished. Took around a total of 20 hours to draw and get all the right poses and fix stuff up. I kind of made it worse with all of the outlining, but it had to show up somehow. You can see I still need to clean it up a little, but it was hard to turn back after adding all the speech bubbles and stuff so I just blew it off. It still looks a lot better in real life, but that's alright. I'm satisfied with the layout, which took two hours to come up with. I should be working on another one tonight.

Add: If you're wondering, I did change the style a little. The boxy-style I used seems to have helped build me up to using curves. So I modified the characters slightly and I think they look pretty good.

With the guilds being down I decided to take a long break and just posted the second comic now. It's been done for about two weeks and now I have to start on the third one. Anyway, I decided to follow up with some short stories as a compromise between my indecisiveness and my personal preference.
