Vivi was a little taken back by the questions, "I'm a Black mage," He replied carefully, not sure if it was some kind of joke. What else could he possibly be? "S - someone with a big hat?" He reached up to adjust his own before realising the stranger could have meant him.

Umh.... I guess if I can use a Legend of the Dragoon character..... really, Meru wink

Name: umh... me? err... Vilya will do.... but some people identify me as Puntitos ("dots")
Character: Meru
Age: Apparently 17
World/Game: Legend of the Dragoon
Weapon: Big, heavy, solid winglie steel HAMMER
Skills: Flight (she's a winglie, after all), Addition (attack combos), Dragoon transformation (grants armor and combat boost for 5 rounds).
Magic: Water-based (only while transformed).
Special: Greatest magic summons Water Dragon from own world, consumes great ammounts of MP).

Background:
The winglies were defeated a thousand years ago in the human-Winglie battle. Only a town remains now, and they hide their presence to the humans through their innate magical power (note: Meru never taps into that power in the game) and secret paths that only airborne creatures may follow.
Being a rebellios and curious girl, Meru left her town to masquerade as human dancer (Winglies can hide their wings, becoming virtually human in appearance). When she met the party, she decided to follow them and help them in their quest to save the world.
After some problems with her own people, and the obvious distrust from one of the other girls in the group, they overcame their problems one after another.
After defeating the ultimate being, the group disbanded, and Meru was left alone again.... She certainly traveled the world, now displaying her true nature without fear, and visiting her friends very often. She even joined Rose (the Drakness Dragoon, survivor from that first war) in a quest to clean a town from rampaging monsters, but in her heart, she always knew something else lay beyond the sky that supported her.

Ok, some mechanical notes.
As leveling up in this game's very difficult, I've chosen to leave her at a somewhat low level (some 20 out of 100 should be fine).
As some allegedly innate abilities aren't exploited in-game, I thought about them surfacing over here.
As the main character gets 7 Addition combos and everyone gets less, it's easy to say that Meru develops new combos over here.
As LotD game somehow encourages Dragoon Transformations, I decided to top her Dragoon Level to 5 (the maximum), and not improve it.
And finally, it's just a charecter submitting, if she isn't entered into the story for any reason, I always understand.

Sensing the strangers irritability, vivi backed down at once. "This is my home," He replied, not entirely sure what the man was asking of him."

"How would I know if they didn't look like dragons in the first place?" Vivi muttered to himelf. "I can find you something to eat in the village," He said simply. "but they're not very keen on strangers, and you ... your soul feels ... weird." He offered hopelessly.

Bebedora grew bored of the frightened mage at the entrance. She glanced around for something to amuse herself. "Hmm." She tugged the brim of her hat, spying Vivi and Yuri. "Ooh, complex souls!" she cried with glee, skipping over to where they stood.

"What is this place with the dark blue souls?" she asked. She tilted her head to look at Yuri. "Ah, rough orange thoughts," she said with a small smile.
