...After they described their rulers, Yokes and Bree realized that the war had been fought over the greed of the Bridleytel and Germanium overlords. Bridleytel has a great deal of valuable mineral mines within it's borders, and Germanium was the leader in industrial production. Therefore, being waged in an eternal war footing benefitted both sides economically. Both generals had lost friends in the war, and were outraged at the thought that it had all been for nothing. They agreed to each other that they would put an end to the war... and get revenge as well...

...So Yokes and Bree arranged their forces on each side, poised for battle. Both were equally matched, and it promised to be the battle of the century... but that the battle never took place. ^_^ You see, there is an ancient Bridleytel law that says under certain circumstances, when the nation is facing great peril, two generals can agree to an emergency peace treaty, whether their rulers like it or not. Now this situation didn't fit, because Bree (of Germanium) and Yokes (of Bridleytel) were equally matched in every way. So, finally... the two agreed there was only one way to settle the arguement of who was militarily superior...

...It was finally decided that the conflict would be determined by a game of chance. So Bree's men loaded up their siege artillery with red cannonballs and Yoke's men loaded up their siege artillery with blue cannonballs. The object of mumbleypeg is to match up as many objects with objects of the same color. ...(Preferably played with playing cards or marbles. sweatdrop ) So both general's had their artillery machine set to a rather ingenious trigger system that would launch it's cannoballs in a random direction depending on what direction the wind was blowing in...

*she claps as he winds the story up, smiles brightly at Orb* That was indeed, wonderful! *winks* You're quite the storyteller, Orb.

xd I'm not finished yet! ^_~ ...So the ropes were cut, and the siege machines started launching their ammo harmlessly into no-man's-land (both of the armies were out of the range of the other). And when the dust cleared, Bree's cannonball's had fallen relatively close to each other, gaining a total of four matches... but Yokes only had one match! This proved that Bree- and his armies- were more lucky than Yokes and his army, giving Bree the military advantage. Since this meant the Bridleytel forces were clearly hopelessly outmatched ( rolleyes ), the two generals met to negotiate a peace treaty, which Bree graciously agreed to. When they arrived home, both were accused of treason, but they managed to stage a coup d'etat and overthrow their corrupt kings... and then united their kingdoms under one banner. And that's the story of the Battle of Mumbleypeg Field. ^^

*the golem continues towards Haudh-en-Lorandune at about 45 miles per hour. Orb and Ana were on the golem's shoulders talking about mumblypeg while Mairethil was listening to his CD player. the skies were a pretty baby blue and the sun shined brightly in the sky. the plains seemed to stretch farther and farther. unfortunately, it would be getting dark soon and they would have to stop for a while.*
