Oooh, Hush was super scary. I also thought The Body was horribly frightening and sad. It was scary because death is something we actually face in real life unlike demons and vampires. I also thought Fear, Itself was scary. Of course, the Dark Willow episodes were scary as hell too!

Fear, itself was the only episode of Buffy that really scared me. I'm sure I can think of a few Angel eps that gave me the wiggins, but never really scared me. Of course I was a bit older and much more desensitized by the time I watched Angel razz

Killed by death - eew freaky Der Kinderstod (sp?)

Nienna of the Valar "Hush" has to be the scariest episode for me. Those gentleman were just plain creepy! *shudders* I am in complete agreement. That episode scared the ever-loving crap out of me.

Hush was scariest for me. the not being able to scream, and just the absence of noise at all was scary, but the actual scariest part for me was when Giles' girlfriend looks out the window and then one of the gentlemen passes by and grins at her. *shudders* eek It really made me jump. smile Good Stuff!

i got kinda creeped out by something blue, but it wasnt scary cause it was so funny. id have to say hush too, briliantly made and got an award for script writing

hush was definatly the creepiest. i can't remember ever being scared by a buffy or angel episode but the gentlemen creep me out.

emmm... non of them are scary really, i dont think so anyway.
But, iff i had to choose two which were obviously had stronger scary factor in then the others, it would be Killed By Death amd Conversations With Dead People.
I didnt think hush was scary at all, not even the gentlemen, they just looked so funny, LOL

Hmm... in buffy here are a few scary ones:
1) Killed by Death
2) Gingerbread
3)Ok, I dont kno the name of it (sorry) but in the 7th season when you find out about the first slayer with teh shadow pupets. That was scary.

dont laugh at meh but i thought that one of the more scary epis is the second halloween epi where they are trapped in the house untill you see the monster then i just started laughing

I think that Angel was darker, but when Buffy was scary, it was SCARY. Hellbound scared the crap out of me, and so did that one episode in like the second season where the guy was gonna cut off Cordy's head and make her his girlfriend. :shudders:

"Hush" was one of the first Buffy episodes I ever saw and it really scared me. The whole concept was brilliant and pure nightmare material.
Also, "Killed By Death" is damn creepy because hospitals make me feel really uneasy. I felt for poor Buffy. And Der Kindestod kinda reminded me of Freddy Krueger, whom I find rather freaky too.
"Passion" wasn't downright scary, but man was it disturbing. I was shaking near the end. Stalker stuff just freaks me out. The scene with the fish? And the one where Giles discovers a nasty surprise after a nice set-up? Ohmygod. sad
