i love stand my ground, memories, julian, see who i am, a dangerous mind, it's the fear and angels....i first found out about within temptation by a metal magazine and they had a cd that had it's the fear song on it....

I only recently got to listen to the album and I'm really warming up to it. I like most of the songs, though I'm not so keen on Stand My Ground which sounds a little too "Evanescence" for my taste. razz I love Jillian, Angels(!) and It's The Fear the most. Solid album by a great band. I don't actually own it yet *cough* but as soon as I find a copy of the special UK edition at a decent price, I'll snap it up.

Solarfall97 I'm not so keen on Stand My Ground which sounds a little too "Evanescence" for my taste.
It's the same thing for most people. Personally, I don't really care since I really like evanescence too. Stand my ground is not my favorite song though.

Hm, I like all the songs on this album aswell, Yet my favourites have to be See who i am, Angels and Its the fear.

I love all the songs on this album - in my opinion, definitely their best. Mother Earth is good though too!

Compared to the other albums, 'The Silent Force' definitely has a very different style, 'Enter' having more of a "gothic metal" vibe to it and 'Mother Earth' being a sort of cross between "gothic" and "symphonic" metal. 'The Silent Force' on the other hand is purely "symphonic metal", and is much more feminine to the first two.
Nevertheless, the album still is extremely good, reguardless of whatever criticism it has gained. heart
