Anyone know any good sources? try your local library, or google it. remember, google IS your friend..... True indeed. As long as you keep an open mind about what you read. But library's kinda out of the question for me... My family's kinda been banned... sorry to hear that.......my last resort would be google, or find another library.........

well also if you have some sort of ocult or herbal store near by (not to be confused with a health food store >.<) ask some one there, people are usualy more than willing ot help you find whats right for you ^.^

I thought there too, but I was mainly wondering towards specific books or anything like that.

I use a small crystal ball. I try to scry with it, but I haven't be successful. Now, it's pretty much a decoration on my bookshelf confused

Now, it's pretty much a decoration on my bookshelf confused I can do scrying but I just don't do it very often, lack of time and personal choice (I prefer tarot or normal meditation). The trick is, is not to try to see things with your eyes, don't expect to actually see actual pictures in the ball, because not everyone will see images with their eyes but maybe in their head, or hear things, or just feel, smell or taste. I'm more of a hearing, head-seeing person.

Does a pendulum count as scrying? Because that would be the only thing I've done. I've heard of dowsing, though. My mum went to some thing with a friend, and they had that there. Her friend brought me back my pendulum.
I think it's a chunk of rose quartz, with some thin silver wire laced around it and a white and green piece of yarn to hold on to. xD

One time I used the bath... the stains didn't come out for a week... redface

I get images in my head off of my pendulum. It can be sorta vague for me, then again I might not be using the way other people do. I have a knack for that.

You get a pendulum... or make one... hold the end of the string and make sure the pendulum isnt already swaying. Ask a question, and depending on which way it swings, or how it swings, it means different things. Each pendulum is different (different materials and spirit) soo... just ask your to show you "yes" and that pattern will mark yes, and then do the same for no...

You can also get different energy patterns from it. The faster and wider it swings clockwise, the more energy there is in/around whatever you're inquiring about.
