This topic reminded me of an incident about two years ago, when someone I cared about was badly hurt. In this case, tied to a fence and beaten by a bunch of gay bashers. One of 'em had a maglight. I think there were six in all, but only three of em stuck around. I found em soon enough that he wasn't seriously injured, but when i first saw them, I didn't even think- I just acted. What I felt, I'd rather not discuss in full detail, except that all I could think of was protecting my friend. He said it lasted about 45 seconds. I beat three of the bashers within an inch of their lives, and got my friend down from the fence. If you had asked me during the fight what I was, the answer wouldn't have been human. In my mind there was no such thing as human- I saw fluttering wings and flashing talons, and three smoky, wavering shapes around me. They got out of the hospital a week after my friend.

i congratulate you.
i'm just lucky that i dont fight often. i get really into it, and i always fear i'll lose myself...and an angry dragon/vampire might be a very very very horrible thing...a massacre i would suspect.

Congradulations? Whatever for?
Keep in mind, i do not believe i P-shifted, if that's what anyone thinks i'm implying. I personally do not believe it is possible without magical influence, and my friend confirmed that i remained perfectly human the whole time. In my mind at the moment, i wasn't human, but i do not feel my body changed at all. I'm not quite sure what kind of shift to describe it as, if it can be called a shift. Aside from just flipping out. Violence is a part of whom i am. While my friends have described me as sweet and courteous, put a weapon, weapon-shaped object, or certain vegtables into my hand and you'll see an instant change in mindset.
As a final note, although some of the injuries they recieved appeared to be slashing wounds, they were caused by a technique I've used before, which involves a quick jab followed by raking the knuckles across the skin, usually aimed at the stomach.

i'm congratulating you for kicking the a** of ignorant gaybashers who deserved it.
i also dont think that P-shifting is possible, and will believe so until i see evidence to the contrary, though i still hold out that small shred of hope that it is possible. i hate being trapped in a human body. humans require alot of maintenance too...which annoys me.

Good job for kicking their asses, but I feel so bad for the poor guy.

Frankly, I don't see why intimacy is that much of an issue. In my case, the pants switch from time to time, depending on which one is more... um, "dominating" at the moment. Sometimes it'll be me and other times, it's her. It's balanced. But we can only really say things that'll make the other blush, which is my only means of justification. I know I'm not assertive and I know she can be. So, that says one thing...
On the topic of your friend, I probably would've done the same thing by going to the rescue, even if it meant another hospitalization. I can't fight and I'm small, but I'd try. They have no right judging what's wrong based on sexual identity. And I can't stand for it. I'm protective and people often won't accept my help because they know how worried I can get. :) But, yeah. Those ********. Good on you, man.

Heh, I think there were about five of them at first...
At any rate, my friend was in bad shape when i took him down, but he was out of the hospital by the next morning with bruises and a limp. One of the bashers needed stitches on his neck... where I bit him.
I have a tendancy to throw myself in harm's way, for my friends or even for complete strangers. Thankfully, being 6'3" and having a penchant for fighting goes well with that habit xd However, I've never beaten anyone quite as badly as I did then, or M-shifted during a fight for that matter.

I am also a virgin, so I don't have much experience on the subject at hand.
However, my current love is definite not of my kin-type, but he's an amazing and compatible person anyway. I am positive the Moirae led me to him, and there is the possibility that he may be a soul mate. No, this doesn't mean that we'll live in eternal bliss. He has catalyzed a lot of change in me, and bringing out another part of me I never knew existed.
However life changes us and our relation, we'll still love one another, and that's really all that matters, no?

As a therian or otherkin, do you find yourself attracted to your species sexually? not really, although i'd probably go for a cat/human mix more then a 'normal' human, if that makes any sense, however i'd probably choose a human over a feline in this area.
do you find that you express sexual urges or feelings in a more animalistic way? i'm a virgin (17 and still haven't even been kissed, sheesh), but i do tend to be animalistic in all other ways, so why not?
have you ever had memories of visions of intimacy in your true form? no, but my mind seems to have a strange way of working anyway.

1) Yes , most defidently to the first question,
2 ) I"m a virgin, so...technically not, but if you mean how I would ...probably animalistic in some ways, yes.
3) Hmm...A few...

I have been known to confuse my friends by saying, "damn, that is one sexy wolf." However, I am not a wolf therian, I am a squirrel. I just realy love and respect wolves and generaly am in awe of them. I think it may have something to do with the only other therian I have ever met in person, who was a wolf therian. We had a relationship for a while. It wasn't much, realy. We're still friends and some what realtion-shipy. It's a long story. Any way, I'm not a virgin. I don't realy want to go there.... lol.

I wish I would meet some one else who was a fox-therian, becuase I'd probably be more atracted to them than a normal person. I do find foxes very atractive, but not quite in a sexual way. I've never met any one who was remotely therian, and whenever I mentioned something like that I had a bible waved in my face; at my house, by my friends, even in school there were the bible-thumpers being all 'hell-fire and brimstone' like. I hate living in the bible belt, because I don't believe in that stuff at all. 'Tis saddening.
Despite all this I'm not a virgin either, though my mate never knew I was a therian, and we've long since broken up. He probably would have dissaproved any way.

My boyfriend and I had an immediate friendship to one another, but romance didn't blossom until a few years later. Then, after we started going out, he announced to me, that he felt like a tiger. I started researching it, and found out that I, too, am of the feline persuasion. So, I was (and still am) attracted to a fellow therian. Not knowing much about this subject, the only thing that I trully can say about the whole thing is that we do click on a totally different level than what previous boyfriends have clicked on. And, yes, I do fantasize about having intercourse that way, although I am still a virgin.
