Seldaara Ah, well that would explain a lot. ^.^ Thanks for that.
I'll definitely be sure to keep up with them. For a while I kept thinking of possibly getting another deck, but I just can't bear the thought of not using these ones.
Silver: Thanks! ^.^ I feel more atune with my Chinese Tarot Deck, it the 3rd deck I got and from then on, that is the only deck I use for tarot readings, although I continue to get more decks, but I use those for certain divination purpose, like the Shapeshifter Deck to connect with my animal self or spirits.

Silver Mist Since I know several members use the Celtic Dragon tarot, I took a pic of the prettier cards in my deck that wanted to be photographed. Here they be. ^^ (sorry the top 2 are so blurry- otherwise the post would have been to image heavy) Seven of Pentacles, Hanged Man (my personal fav in the deck), and The Lovers  Two of Pentacles, Ace of Pentacles, and the Nine of Cups  Back of the cards  the back of the card is very similar to my Shapeshifter deck! I think the dragon shedding it's skin conveys the idea of rebirth a lot better than the traditional death card. It also doesn't scare the hell out of the querent when it pops up. Same with the Chains(Devil) card. I know what you mean, every time the death card comes up, I see the fear in the person's eye and I have to tell them it does not mean death, just change

does anybody use any type of stones in their reading?
I use the purple quartz crystal during my readings because it makes my readings more accurate.

I use music when I am meditating with my tarot cards
I keep them close by so they can be surrounded by a auru. This way, they will know what I want to know when I do my readings without explaining the whole situation. whee

Twice. >< Cause after the first reading, they were for friends, and it came up the same way for both of them. I'm trying to get my cards much more in tune with me by carrying them constantly (which I did last time, too) and meditating with them at hand.

Daraku Dakara WinggemLNightTigress rumor? Every time one does a reading in a specific place, the spirits in that area will become stronger (not sure what they meant by stronger). I am not sure if this is true, because I have done several readings in my room and nothing unusual has happen...yet If you ward the room suficiently, and or cast a circle before you do the reading, that will normally keep energies from gathering, and from "things" gathering as well.
I have a basic deck, they said to refer to them as the Ancient Basic Tarot, they're funny and blunt. I keep them with me all the time! sweatdrop

Sometimes I would even place it on the bed with me so my auru will have a stronger influence on it. It also takes time and practice for your readings to become accurate, so be patient and continue practice doing readings with your cards. Do not forget to warn the questioner about your skills, I always tell them the level of accuracy of my readings and how the cards are there to provide guidance and that the future can be change. It is also better with you work with one deck. I find that my most accurate readings are when I use my Chinese Tarot Deck blaugh .

I keep them with me all the time! sweatdrop ghoul thing? *shivers* I almost discontinue my tarot readings when I found out that it strengthen the spirits in the area, but then I decided to do the readings in different areas; not in one area too often. Have any of you read the manga xxxHolic? I forgot what volume it was, but these students were doing some sort of Japanese stype quiji board thing and it causes the spirits in the school to become more active.

Alizis-Azura *feels really stupid* here in kentucky there aren't many people who could tell me how to do that, and our book selection in few and far between....so.....how do you banish ghouls? don't feel bad, I have never banish anything either, and barely know the process to it. The best protection I heard of is to use salt, it would not banish it, but I think you can use it to banish it from a certain area of your home.
