Oy! I didn't think there'd be half as much activity going on here.. Not that there's even all that much, but y'know. I'm an islander, and I checked in on this thread a long time ago, and nothing was really happening. If people are still interested in electing a rep, I could do the job.
So are there any other islanders about at the moment?

Ihabia: Anne of Green Gables is a story about a girl named Anne Shirley. She is adopted by Marilla Cuthbert and her brother Mathew. However, when she reaches their house, she finds out that they wanted to adopt a boy, not a girl. The story goes on from there. Anne stays with the Cuthberts, makes new friends, goes to college, gets married, etc. There are eight "Anne" books in total; Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Avonlea, Anne of the Island, Anne of Windy Poplars, Anne's House of Dreams, Anne of Ingleside, Rainbow Valley, and Rilla of Ingleside. I went to PEI once, it was really muggy. Stayed South of Charlettown, on a little beach. Was very sweet. (But I can't stand Road to Avonlea or stuff like that, sorry to the fans!)

I've lived on P.E.I. for nine years and I still haven't been to Summerside and I've never had Cow's. And I'm supposed to show my boyfriend, who lives in England, what the island is really like when he visits in a few days and I don't even know! gonk

I'm not surprized that this is one of the smaller provincial threads, as we are the smallest province.
Landmass wise, anyway. I have no idea of that's true of population.

We're fourth smallest in population with 137,700 people. The population of Ottawa is seven times larger.
