I'm currently reading for fun the following: Smoke and Mirrors by Neil Gaiman, The Existential Background of Human Dignity by Gabriel Marcel
I recently finished Hart's Hope by Orson Scott Card
I'm looking forward to reading The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever by Stephen Donaldson as well as Men in Black: How the Supreme Court is Destroying America by Mark Levin (recommended to me my a conservative friend, I'm withholding judgement as yet).

Oh and I'm reading a whole lot of Ludwig Wittgenstein for class.

Oh, and as long as we're on the subject of books, I'm curious who's read Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy, as I was intrigued by his concept of overthrowing the Kingdom of Heaven to construct the Republic of Heaven. Other than that, I was curious who else (among the Terry Goodkind readers) sees strong Randian overtones in his work, especially the later ones. I guess it could just be my imagination, but it seems to close to be coincidence.

Nothing more right now, I guess.

Hey everyone! I'm new to the guild and this is my first post! xd

Anyways, right now I'm engaged in reading Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. It's one of the best books I've ever read!

The Forever War by Joe Haldeman... Copyright 72, and true to the story, Missouri's weather is still shitty. That and there was a mention to 1987 which also happens to be when I was born. I just find it intersting that where I live and when I was born both happen to be mentioned in the book.

I'm reading "The Dispossessed" by Ursula K. Le Guin. Not as good as the last book I read by her (Four Paths to Forgiveness), or at least slower to get in to. But I think it's actually set in the same "galaxy" so that's nifty. heart

I'm reading:

- Ape and Essence by Aldous Huxley (halfway finished)
- Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency by Douglas Adams
- Krondor: Tear of the Gods by Raymond E. Feist (finished)
- The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain (required reading)
- Winds of Fate by Mercedes Lackey (finished)
- Winds of Change by Mercedes Lackey
- House of Mirth- I forgot the author's name (required reading)

I'm also working on many other books or am going to start books soon. These books consist of a bunch of books by George Orwell, Anne Rice's vampire chronicles, Harry Potter #6 (when it comes out), I hope. I'm also going to read Winds of Fury by Mercedes Lackey. That's it for me, enough to keep me occupied.

2 down, about 10 to go.
