*Started to laugh as Kit clung to my arm.* Dont worry, you just need to be more confendent in yourself is all. These mosters arent to bad. *Kept walking intill go to B4 of the dungeon where we entered a wide open room with two monster gates.* Well you ready?

Alright *Started to run forward but almost fell from a weight on arm. Looked at arm and saw Kit still clung to arm. Started scratching head* um....I really dont mind you clinging to me but.....I cant really fight with you clinging....dont worry, these guys are easy, and I'm here so dont worry.

*Started laughing as Kit ran into the first gate* Heh heh, there might be hope for her yet xp *Gripped whip in hand and flew towards the second gate activating it. Three monsters apperead, so quickly using ice whip, spun it around freezing all three monsters. Then gripped sword and slashed threw all three*

Humming, she sat down in her computer chair, booting the machine up and drinking a Dr. Pepper while she waited. She'd gotten off work early and didn't have to go in for the next three days. Her parents were out of town and her younger sister at a friend's house while her older sister was at some Star Trek convention for the weekend. She'd stopped by the 7-Eleven on the way home and stocked up on junk food and sodas. Yep. She was set. Which was good, because all she'd be doing for the next 72 hours, aside from sleep, eating, and bathroom breaks, would be playing her favorite MMORPG- The Gaian World. And the fact that school was out made it even better.
Her teachers told her she was antisocial and withdrawn. The psychiatrist had told her she was suffering from social anxiety and her parents had dubbed her the epitome of teen angst. Not so. She was really a friendly person to those that she thought worthy of it, got good grades in school (except math, which sucked like only math could), and had several very close friends. But she hated crowds, hated school, and hated her younger sister. She'd have been hanging with her friends during the weekend, but they were all at an anime convention that she'd been too poor to tag along to.
So she was left with the Gaian World. Not that she was complaining, mind you.
{Start up complete. Starting the Gaian World.} She grinned. THanks to the ingeniousness of her Trekkie sister's boyfriend, her computer went straight into the game upon startup. And it spoke to her. That part amused her greatly. But it was time to be amused in a different way, she mused as she put on the equipment needed to play.
When finished, she was launched straight into the game.

He opened his eyes and looked around, sitting up from where he'd last been before 'going to sleep'. It was in the starter city, he havning found in his travels that this was the best and safest place to sleep while not ingame. Stretching, he looked out the window. Ah. No one around. Good. A lot of people wondered why a more experienced level 23 mage class hung around the newbie arena. 'Why don't you just stay in a hovel or something in a harder area?' they asked.
Because hovels were few and far between and more often than not occupied by things he didn't want to bother with by the time he was ready to 'sleep'.
Hopping from the window to the ground, he did his customary wardrobe-check in a mirror. Not because he was vain- okay, he was- but because he was proud of the ensemble he'd acquired. White pants of a light and breathable cotton covered his legs with a white belt on top. Nothing covered his torso, but he WAS wearing a silver amulet that he'd won in a game event. On his left hand was a gold ring and wagging lazily behind him was a wolftail. Black face marks adorned underneath his emerald eyes and mounted on his back was an angelbow. He'd gotten THAT from a very, VERY veteran player that he'd helped on a quest. Mounted as such, the bow was a pair of white feathery wings that ruffled in an attempt to stretch as well. He COULD use it as a weapon, but preferred the wings aspect of it. Besides. In his right hand was his weapon- an intricate cherrywood staff with a glowing golden orb towards the tip. Looking around, there was only one thing he could see that he was missing.
'Mraow?' Ah, nevermind. Xama, his black cat familiar that he'd gotten as part of a limited-edition event, padded up to him, then jumped to his shoulder, then to his head, where, after sitting there, she purred and wrapped her tail around her feet.
"Yeah, you're vain too." He laughed and turned from the mirror. Waist-length silver hair moving behind him, he turned a bit to check a side way. Good, he mused as he turned another corner, still no- "Oof!"
He stumbled backwards, having run into someone. Xama yowled and jumped to the ground, licking her ruffled raven fur indignantly.

She fell with a bit of a soft thud, wings wrapped protectively around her shoulders. Ruby blinked up to see whom she had run into, rather surprised to have run into any one (litterally or not) when the server seemed dead as it was. Turning her head at the sound of an indignant hiss, her head wings twitched then folded back against her head as she stood and dusted herself off.

"Geez, sorry kitty."

Yep yep, you did good *Placed sword on back* Well you ready to go to the next level?

Heh heh, well lets go *Smiled as headed to the next level*

"Oh, Xama will be fine," he replied, also dusting himself off, mostly out of reflex. " Snowy white wings flapped a little, also out of reflex. "Sorry 'bout that."
