UPDATE
well i have to pull the motor again......get this.....i broke 3 teeth off of first gear. rofl just a bit too much power for iti guess. gonna get some high performance trans gears and just put those in. i figured the shaft would have snapped before the teeth on the gear...oops. also i found a section of subframe thats getting weak so i have to cut that out and put a new chunk in...that ought to be fun.

i bought a parts car today for 200 bucks...its a 87 lx minus engine. i pretty much stole it for how good of shape it is in. now i can fix my car.
