Hey, look at Juudai, he's only in osiris red and he's the best duelist in the school, practically.
Jou's a real good duelist, I just put him in osiris red cause he's kind of dumb sweatdrop .

((Yeah, and it's pretty funny too whee .
And we could probably start this up now. So I'll go first. So from now on anything OOC should be somehow seperated from the roleplay. You know, parens or something.))
Yami sat in the arena of Duel Academia's mainland headquarters. He had just finished the second portion of his exam; the duel test. But he'd been one of the ealier students, number six, so there were still quite a lot of students to go before the testing was completed. At least the tests were all duels, so they would be interesting to watch. And, of course, would give him some insight on his potential opponents for the year. "Duel Academia...I can't wait." He said aloud, to no one in particular.

Anzu powered up her fairy monster just in the nick of time to deal a crushing blow to her opponent in her dueling exam. She looked down at the counter on her duel disk and saw that she had won with only 100 life points left to her.
"Boy, that was close!" she sighed.
Everything afterward seemed to be in a blur as the knowledge sunk in that she had made it into the Academia. Soon she found herself ascending the steps to look for a decent place to sit and watch as other potential students finished their exams. She noticed a confident boy sitting by himself. His tri-colored hair surrounded his head in the shape of a star. Anzu took a moment to compose herself before she walked over to him and asked, "Is this seat taken?"

((I fail at this, so here goes my best shot..Plus I can't choose a color right for Sho...))
Sho sighed a sigh of relief as he watched his monsters disapper. "I actually passed..." He made his way up to sit and watch the others finish up.
He sat at the very top, away from alot of people. He didn't want his rep as "His Little Brother" just yet. He heaved a sigh and shoved those thought to the back of his head. "Not exactly what I want to think about..."

((I'm really tired from my job, but let us see what happens.))
Ryou gazed down from his lookout in the balcony. Hmm, So Sho actually managed to make it, he thought. Throughout the day he'd managed to spot some promising talent in the new recruits. However, his brother was not one of them. He has a long way to go.
One of the examinees in particular, a kid with a star-shaped haircut intrigued him. His deck had a great balance of monsters and spells and had won his entrance duel easily. He decided that he would keep a closer eye on this new freshman.

Jou sighed heavily as he ran a quivering hand through his shaggy hair, a shakey breath escaping his lips.
"Man 'dat was tough." his lips curved into a smile as he laughed, walking away from the arena with his deck now in his back pocket. "Heh, watch out everyone Jou's in town and his gonna beat all of ya's". Laughing happily once again he climbed up the stairs and noticed a group of students, one a pretty looking girl and the other with unique hair.
Whoa, starfish!
Jou blinked rapidly as he rubbed his hair again, staring at the youth, soon deciding that standing around looking gormless was not going to help his dueling repetation he continued up the stairs.
"Man, d'ese thing's are endless."
He whined as he walked behind them and leant on the metal handrail nearby, gazing down at the playing field seeing who else would pass the exam, afterall he barely did.

((Woo, my turn! xDDDD))
"Yeah, all right!" Otogi yelled out as the last of the enemy's monsters disappeared from the field. "I won! Of course, I knew I would...I'm just too good at this!"
He jumped down from the podium and strolled over to the stands to watch the other duelists take their test. Just as he reached the steps he almost tripped over as he saw the hair on the boy sitting a few rows up. It was very...unique. Gravity-defying spikes protruded from the top of his head, a mixture of red and black, with blonde bangs adorning the edge of his face.
"Whoa...I don't think I've ever seen anything like it before! ...Oh well! Better go and say hi." He walked up the rest of the steps, hoping to impress a few chicks as he went past them. "Well, I can try..."
Spotting a blonde haired kid standing behind the railing at the top behind the strange multi-coloured haired guy, he decided he would stand with him, to find out just how good this duelist was.
((Eh heh...not too long I hope... ^^; ))

(( xd So far, every person has made some comment about Yami's hair in their post, I find that incredibly amusing.
Bukasha, you're in as Seto. Don't worry about an example, I'm not being too nit-picky with this one, especiall since we are still a pretty small guild. Just needs to be at least semi-literate. So far, that hasn't been a problem.
Everyone is doing great so far, and don't worry about length, long is good heart . And wormmon, take your time. I know what you mean about needing time, it happens to me in some RPs.))
Yami was so interested in the duels going on down on the floor, that it took him a moment to realize he'd been spoken to. "Oh...sorry about that, and no one's sitting here."
He wanted to turn his attention immediately back to the duel, but he knew that would be rude. He was never really well versed in the areas of small talk, but he figured it would be good to at least attempt, "My name's Yami, by the way."

Jou growled as he continued to rub his hair, growing impatient and bored by the second. Glancing at the starfish haired kid, he frowned.
Damn that guy's only been here for a while and he's already hitting on the girls. Why can't I get noticed He decided to look back at the exams taking place.
"How long is this going to take." He mumbled under his breath tapping his foot rapidly. A smile spread across his face as he punched his fist into the air, laughing madly like a psycho.
"Hehehe"
Jou stuck his chest out proudly as he climbed onto the handrail, some eyes glancing his way. Still laughing, a huge grin on his face he looked at everyone.
"You've heard it 'ere first folks! I, Katsuya Jounouchi am going to be your new leader and the best duelist in this 'ere Duel Academia! Yes you may call me your king, your leader.. or if ya really lucky, Jou." He closed his eyes, the smile even wider on his face as he rubbed his blonde hair, the other hand forming a peace sign.
That should of got me known, now bring on the chicks and the attentionJou thought as he began to sweat drop, rubbing his hair nervously.
Heh unles maybe, judging by their faces, I over did it. That's it Jou, just get down now and pretend it never happened. Yeah just get down right now!
He moved his foot back and flapped his arms madly as he leant back, successfully falling and ending up sprawled out on the floor. A moan was heard as he rubbed his back and head, soon feeling a presence nearby. "Damn it." He threw his arms in the air and growled slightly, like a dog. Now deciding to keep his big mouth shut to avoid any more attention and other people. Afteral he had more then just a back and head that was bruised, more like his reputation and pride.
(Damn Jou's hard...lol)

Otogi gaped as the scene before him unfolded. Well, he thought, this will be amusing...
He walked up the rest of the stairs, standing next to this 'Jou' person. He smirked, before saying,
"Hello Jou. My name's Otogi." He held out his hand...
