Sira walked in, hoping to see the librarian. The desk where he was usually seen was empty.
"Um....I'll just browse for a second then"
She murmured.
Within the half and hour, four books were stacked on a table, and Sira's face was hidden by a rather large one. "Curses and Counter-curses(Bewitch Your Friends and Befuddle Your Enemies with the Latest Revenges: Hair Loss, Jelly-Legs, Tongue-Tying, and Much, Much More), by Professor Vindictus Viridian"

She realized how late it was, and, after making sure no one could see her, she stamped all four books.
"I'd better get outta here" she whispered nervously, having a feeling she wasn't alone. She rushed out of the library, and on accident dropped Achievement in Charming on the floor. "uuugghhh" she moaned as she grabbed it and countinued racing up stairs back to her dorm.

Ana walked into the library. She grabbed a random book. Hogwarts Wilds, it was called. She began to read. "The grand protector of nature has great power. Anyone can become an apprentice of the grand protector of nature and have access to some of his powers as long as they're willing to devote their life to it." Nature, power...this was sounding good to Ana. If only I could find the grand protector of nature! she thought. "The current grand protector of nature is named Lethas Nasu Ryll, and the next in line is is brother, Kage Shi Ryll." Ana slammed the book shut without reading more. This was it! Kage Shi Ryll...he was the Care of Magical Creatures teacher! And now that she thought about it, she thought she'd heard of some teachers talking about the grand protector of nature. Kage's name had been in there somewhere, she thought. Well, he'd probably in his home on the grounds. She left the library to find him.

Sira walked in quickly, for her candle had blown out. Feeling dumb, she set the candle on a nearby table and pulled out her wand.
"Lumos...." she mumbled.
seeing the book that Ana had left, she grabbed it and read the first few lines.
"kage...?" she murmured. "My care of magical creatures teacher?" With a look of confusion on her face, she snatched up her over due books and dropped them off.
"wait a-" she paused and held on to the last book she held in her hand.
"Ah...this is the one I grabbed by accident when I dropped my other one"
Wondering what to do, she sat down with it in her clutch. It was thick, and made of old leather. She tried to open it, but it wouldn't budge.
"what the?"

"Diffindo"
Her wand was pointed at the book. Hoping it would split apart, she watched it curiously. The book started to rumble, and then it flipped over.
"grrmmm....." she snarled. "How to get you open....."
"Mobilarbus" she poked the book with her wand, and it slowly levitated above her. She flicked her wand away, and it landed with a thump on the table. The book responded by turning to face her before sliding across the table.
"tuhh....maybe I should get some help..."
The book gave a loud growl and then lunged at her.
"I-I Incarcerous" she shreiked.
The book stopped and fell to the ground. It seemed to be fighting the ropes that were tied tight around it.
"Who to ask...." she murmured, and picked up the book.
It struggled to get out of her grasp.
"Oh no you don't...." her footsteps were faster than they had been on her way in there as they scampered out into the corridors.

Sira paused, her mouth wide open. Her grasp softened. The book wriggled and dropped the ground. She forgot about it for a moment, and dropped to her knees.
It was quickly squirming across the corridor and back into the library.
"Stupefy" she mumbled at the book.
It stopped wriggling around and froze.

Blood was speckled across her shirt.
"What's going on?" she whispered.
Taking a closer look at the bird, she gently scooped it up and rocked it back and forth.

She hushes it, and gazes around, wondering what could've done this.
"It's ok," she murmurs.
"Maybe I should go to the hospital wing....or the care of magical creatures classroom"
