I haven't read any Princess Ai, but I did briefly flip through the first volume. I haven't decided if it's a series that I want to read yet or not...Is it any good, Masq-chan?
I'm thinking of starting to read Angelic Layer. Is it any good, ya guys? It sounds interesting enough, but I want to be sure before I decide on anything.

I like the Angelic Layer Manga I would recommend it, I also like what I have seen of the anime, I have gotten to see a few episodes and was super happy^^

No i haven't read princess ai but i just might- in the stores. Which I NEVER do- i always buy them and then read them. Don't ask. Angelic Layer is good. If you've read chobits- you would really like it- the two series cross over.

Masquanade Regarding the new post in the announcement thread WHAT?! When did this happen? Has anyone read Princess Ai? I wasn't here when it came out so I missed any discussion, if any happened at all. As you can probably guess from Ace and Mika, there haven't been any discussion on Princess Ai, but I do believe Chii was looking foward to it. *ponders* Has anyone taken a look at the animation clip? domokun

Heh...only reason it's #1 in the country is probably because Courtney Love and DJ whats-his-fus have their names on it. xp
(I'm not bitter, not at all....)
I've been hearing mixed things about the manga...one really farfetched one is that the whole thing is explaining that Courtney allegedly didn't kill Kurt...or something. I don't know. It looks interesting enough...but I just haven't had the motivation to pick it up and read it.
...Something about Hot Gimmick and Negima! that sparks my interest a little more. 3nodding

I really like them (obviously)...
Can't stay long right now, I have class soon. But I'll be back this afternoon. And arigato for the info on Angelic Layer, I'll try to flip through the first few pages of v1 before making my decision.

Yeah, some things aren't working as well as they might...but we learn to live with it, regardless whether we should or not.
I'm thinking of getting my roommate hooked on some manga, but I need a good series to start her on. Anyone got any ideas?

hmmm well Mika-chan I could name about a million XP to start off on but what kinds of things does she like and would you want to get her hooked by starting her off with a series that isnt completed or one that is?

Caitiebear ...Something about Hot Gimmick and Negima! that sparks my interest a little more. 3nodding Now that's what I'm talkin' about! xd I loves me some Hot Gimmick...more so Ryouki though, lol heart Negima is great too. The second volume is out! I must read! domokun I need to start picking those up too. I've been bumming Negima off of a friend. xp I'm waiting forrr~ v6 of Hot Gimmick, v6 of Alice 19th, v2 of Imadoki, v8 of Boys Before Flowers (Hana Yori Dango, so weird calling it by it's american name. razz ), and v4 of Hana Kimi. Also Peach Girl v10, but that doesn't come out till frigging November!!! scream

Well, I think that she'd go for the more darker series, I can see that she's a fan of Marilyn Manson (she has a banner of him and a shirt that I've seen so far). Other than that as far as I can tell, we both like a lot of the same things...About completion or not...I'm not sure...I might get her Hellsing manga since she has a scene from the anime as the background on her computer.
What do you think?
And do what to hear something weird? I had saved one of the TP guild banners on my pc because I liked the pic and it seems that I can have it as a background on my laptop. I think it's cool but odd. *shrugs* whee I'll keep it!!
