It would be impossible to recall the 'first' country song I have heard since I have ALWAYS been listening to it, lol.

Lil Brat I grew up listening to country music, from infancy so I really don't remember... sweatdrop *Thinks the old-timers is kicking in.* Was probably something by Glen Campbell, Meryl Haggard, or whatever was popular in 69 or 70... eek i like the old stuff and Glen and Merle are good singers, uh my first song i believe was "Hello Darlin" at age 4, by one of my most favorite artists Conway Twitty

I grew up with that song. My mom is a massive Billy Ray Cyrus fan. His newer music is even better. Unfortunately, he just gets classified as the "Achy Breaky Guy".

My first country song I heard that made me a country fan and it is going to date me The Thunder Rolls not the one that they play on the radio now but the original one back in 1990. I then bought a lot of Garth Brooks music.

mine were most likely Kenny Chesney song... but i'm not sure which ones they were. I think they might have been You Had Me From Hello, You And Me, She Thinks My Tractors Sexy, and Don't Happen Twice... but there are so many of them that turned me on to country music i don't have nearly enough time to list them all^^ but yeah those were some of my first favorites, but i can't remember what the first one that i heard that made me fall "head over heals" for country music... heart

I'm not sure, but I know my mom used to play her Willie Nelson cassette over and over. The first one I can remember listening to, as a kid, was probably "You're Still the One".
