KYou knew he was outnumbered now, as the new one, Raish, had entered the arena. But above all, they all seemed to only think of him as the same as the last time they saw him. Obviously, they were quite mistaken, but he wouldn't take chances. For now, he would have to hit and run, along with the girl. The immediate threat was Terrox, who seemed to watch Kyou's every single move, down to the last inch. He controlled his aura well, allowing him to predict many attacks as well. The other one seemed to possess summoning abilities. Kyou could not fight him evenly without his wakizashi, Yajuu Senko. The sword was currently sealed away, so accessing it was pointless. Kyou was glad however, overall, that they had not noticed his growth...or the new toys he had with him.

Taking his time, like nothing scared him, he walked over to the girl and stood in front of her, looking straight into the eyes of one of the demons Raish had summoned.

"Do you really think this little t**t could ever pose a serious threat towards anyone really?", Kyou said, giving Raish a disappointed smile and waving him off. Slowly, he grabbed the girl by the shoulders and pushed her backwards.

"Either you move your butt and fight with me, or you get out of the way and don't get hurt!", he yelled to her, to snap her back to her senses.

Without a second glance, he spun about and shouted out, all the while drawing his one obvious weapon, Shinyamiken: "K.Y.O.U. System....ENGAGED!!" With a long swing, the katana shone extremely bright, enough to blind anyone in the vicinity. Like a dream, it seemed to snap into many pieces, getting longer and longer, until the light vanished and Kyou was left holding a short but large sword.

"Hosen no Guu!".

With a spin, the sword disconnected into many pieces. It was like a whip, yet bladed and fully controlable. It hung on the ground, threatening but immobile, like a snake waiting to attack.

"You may notice a slight change in my equipment...", he said, tilting his head and smiling. With a flick of his arm, he whipped the sword at the small monsters and with each strike, he pierced right through the demons.

Raish sneared a little as Kyou walked over towards the girl without a care The manifests weren't supposed to be scary or strong, you know I nly summoned them so that she wouldn't run away in the time it took you and Terrox to fight. Don't get me wrong, I would never gang up on you, because I have a sense of honor." Kyou protruded a blade that acted as a scourge. Quickly, he disposed of the 10 manifest in one sweep. Dismembered, the little manifests shrieked onelast time and they faded out of existence. "Huh," Raish started, "Looks like you've do have some new toys. Just remember that you don't know how much terrox has improved since you were gone. Also, you have just seen the tip of the iceberg when it comes to my powers. Sure, run. Go ahead. I won't stop you anyhow. Raish snickered to himself as the original 10 manifest reformed behind Kyou, now closer to the girl once more. They huddled as their forms began to meld into each other. This pile of ooze with little green dots flowing through it slowly started to take a definite shape. "It will still be easy for him to destroy it, and I'd rather not summon up a new batch. I just hope that Terrox takes the hint and makes a move soon," Raish thought to himself. "The manifest have combined their energies completely. Now, face a shade," Raish spoke to Kyou in a proud manner, pointing to his servant.

((Note the servant looks sort of like a floating version of the grim reaper, but, naturally, is solely made of the dark matter, because it was made of manifests.))

(Speaking of Improvement, you' have so much Yoder-kun! ^___^ Nice Original...)

Kyou knew the Manifest demons were made of dark matter, a renewable energy that could never be destroyed, but he also knew this summoning took huge amounts of energy to control. No doubt Raish was pushing himself already with this new Shade fusion. Kyou flicked his Hosen sword back into a single blade and with a flash it's original form again, a katana. Shades were known for being one of the most powerful forms of the dark undead element. Few escaped their magic or even their presence. They were firece, ruthless and most of all, angry, since they were spirits of grudge. Kyou had faced a few before in his travels, but none so well formed as this one. Quickly, he turned to Raish.

"When you said power, I thought you meant something from within you. The only way to command these is to give your soul to the Underworld.

Kyou had pretty much forgotten about Terrox since he seemed immobile now, watching the scene. "Less trouble for me...I can't reveal all my tricks at once. That wouldn't be fun...", Kyou thought, still smirking.

Stepping up to the Shade, who waited upon his master's command, he put his hand into the Shade's hood, where only darkness showed. His hand quickly vanished and Kyou felt it go dead instantly, cut off from the real world. "Port-Dimensions, ka...", he thought, pulling out his hand. This could prove tricky...but the best way to defeat a summon...Take out the summoner!

(Just gonna wait a bit for Mr. Terrox, since we're kinda jumping ahead of him...)

[]lol, not gonna wait for me? razz Ah, well. This actually works well with my character, anyhow.[]

Teresa blanked out for a minute when she saw the little creatures. Just when she finally realized she should attack, she was pushed out of the way. This was who she'd called to help her? Oh, well. He WAS helping, and she stood no chance against these men. Looking at the reformed monster and ignoring the conversation, she had a brief mental debate as to whather or not she had the strength to do what she wanted to do.

A moment later, she decided that she'd have to do something different. Taking a few steps away and to the side, she removes three cards from the almost-invisible pocket in her skirt. She calls on the white fuzz, and pushes it towards her hands and into the wand. ~Water, for serenity. Earth for defense. Intuition to lead me and to catalyze.~ As she places each tiny card against the globe of her wand, opposite herself, their images display within the globe: A placid sea, a wall of stone, and a woman's face, with the spark within her head. The spark flashes and blasts Teresa full on, forcing her back a step.

Shaking her head, Teresa blinks away the brightness of the flash, feeling the effects that her spell had wrought: Stronger defense, a cool head, the intuition to supplement her new ally's intent, and the psychic energy to continue fighting.

Armed as she was, her first goal was to get rid of her primary attacker. Turning to Raish, she pulls out another three cards. ~Earth to underline force. Fire to underline strength and weaken earth. Water to weaken fire and to catalyze.~ As soon as she pressed the final card to the globe, a blast of steam burst forth, headed for Raish's current position. What Teresa expected from the spell was that it would weaken him physically and bring down his morale. What better way to distract from his psychic power than by taking away from his physical power?

Terrox was watching, quite dazzled, he noticed the beam of what appeared to be smoke heading towards Raish, "Hey, Raish! Move it!" he spun his scythe around, twirling it in his left hand. Terrox jumped five feet in the air as he took a deep breath. When he did so, icy winds gathered in his mouth to form what appeared to be a pale blue cloud. Cold winds seemed to gather around Terrox as he drifted for a few seconds. He then blew out a strong, light blue, visible wind towards Teresa's steam, Maybe I can blow it away to hold it off.

He shouted, "Take that!"

((Yeesh, my posts are getting short.))

Teresa looked up at Terrox's shout. ~That's not good,~ she thought to herself. ~In fact, that's really bad.~ She didn't move fast enough to be able to intercept that breeze. Then the blue wind was starting to blow her steam away. Then she noticed something interesting. The steam was being deflected off-course, but not by much. And the amount of blue from the breeze was deteriorating as it met her steam. ~I can use that against magic spells!~ she mentally rejoiced. By the time the breeze was out, there probably wouldn't be enough of her spell left to affect her original target, but she'd learned something that might be vitally important about her magic, or at least that particular spell.

[]Hehe, yay for salvaging an attack.[]

Terrox's drifting efffect of his attack wore off as he landed. He thought, Whew... Glad I neutralized it. 'No telling what it would have done. he decided to shift his target towards Kyou. His main reason for the brief counter against Teresa was out of defense, and he promised Raish Teresa, so it was up top him to show his offensive side side to Kyou. He closed his eyes and begun to concentrate deeply. He kneeled over slightly as he did so.

He then slid back all of the sudden, as if wearing socks on a newly waxed floor, as the pressure of summoning his Ice Element Powers in a stronger form, "Head's up!" as Terrox was concerned, he had to stay afar until he understood his opponents movements enough to dodge them expertly. He often went by a ranged attack. He also overlooked stealth. It was his thing to make his attacks as flashy and loud as possible. It was at that moment that a pale blue light shown around Terrox.

((By the by, I got Terrox comissioned, this picture is basically exact to his original design, here's Terrox.))
PostPosted: Mon May 15, 2006 8:35 am

Kyou watched Terrox directly after his counter. He knew something was coming his way now, but he didn't know how or when it would. Teresa seemed to have found something out about their powers, since her face lit up with excitement. Kyou, with his sword unsheathed, flipped it back into it's extended whip form. He faced Terrox and stood there, silent and waiting. A blue aura emanated from him. It was coming...

"Terrox!", he yelled out. "Did you know that by calculating many of the factors presented here, I could counter you in almost every way you could imagine of attacking me...AND in surplus, a extra 10% factor allows me to attack you first before you could even let out your offensive."

Kyou began walking slowly around Terrox, looking at him with a snare. He was toying with him now, unafraid. He knew Terrox's main abilities: 'Watch and Learn'. He wouldn't give him the opportunity. Stepping back, he stood about 7 meters from his opponent. "I guess...to get you to do anything...I have to wait myself....right?".

Terrox shouted, "Wrong. Wrong. And wrong. First of all, you can't counter all attacks and set up a ratio when you have no idea what's coming. Secondly, you can't judge me. For the last time, it's been four ******** years. I'm not using the same tricks and strategies as before. Third, I can do something. By stating my strategy, you clearly believe it's the only thing I do. No half-assed fighter shows his trump card at the beginning of a battle." he grinned as he stood up and raised his hands as thousands of ice shards formed in them constantly, as soon as they formed, firing in the direction of Kyou. There were many pieces of ice, some were as small as pebbles, some as large as soda cans. They were all shaped roughly like footballs, their sharp edges point at Kyou.

He sneered, "Parry these. Amaze me!" Terrox was sickened by Kyou's ego by this point. He made an early assault just to try and shut him up. His first additional trick up his sleeve involved a ranged attack against his enemies.
PostPosted: Mon May 15, 2006 5:22 pm

Teresa was becoming increasingly disgusted with this man who was supposed to be her ally. He was so arrogant! Calculating the odds of countering an enemy's attack? You did that in VIDEOGAMES! Not in real life. She grimaced and turned away from Terrox and Kyou. They weren't her business anymore. They were distracted with each other. Maybe the other guy was distracted with Kyou, too. She could only hope.

Returning her attention to Raish, she tried another spell. ~Fire to burn. Air to support fire. Initiative to give it destructive force and to catalyze.~ It was a new combination for her, and she was caught off-guard by the sudden heat as fire engulfed the globe of her wand. Her instinct for self-preservation had her point the wand away from herself, mere moments before a fireball, about a foot in diameter, blasted off in the direction her wand was pointed, at Raish.

Kyou backed off with Terrox's sudden burst of profanity. He was being provoked and all was going with the plan. He smiled at Terrox's comments and played his part well. The man was right on one part: "No half-assed fighter shows his trump card at the beginning of a battle." Kyou would do just that, because for all of this, without brag, he didn't need them. He heard Terrox say: "Parry these...".

"Parry?...", Kyou said. "As you wish...", he finished.

With a whip-like snap, his Shinyamiken sword broke off it's many pieces and began floating in the air. With a wave of Kyou's hand, they flew out, timing with Terrox's attack almost perfectly. Most of them were stopped, excepting the smaller less threatening fragments. They hit Kyou at an amazing force, most of them hitting him in the face or neck. He fell back and rushed his hands to his face. Silence reigned for some time, before Kyou gradually got to a sitting position, hands covering his face. They were drenched in blood, obviously the attack had reached some critical areas. Everything seemed terrifying until a laugh was heard from Kyou. A laugh that could chill even the warmest of places...

"Terrox, my good boy....All this time, you've been saying that you've changed...in the past 4 years...am I right?", Kyou said as he got up, hands still hiding his features. "Let me tell you one thing.....Did you ever, in the past 4 years, learn to research ahead on things and to not make assumptions? The K.Y.O.U. project was in fact me....although you were young at the time...you still could have learned a bit about me, right?"

Kyou walked closer and closer to Terrox as he spoke, towering more and more above him. He made an awesome sight, but kept a non-threatning pose.

"Now...I have still to attack any of you...and I stand by my saying that I mean you two no harm....but please...don't abuse my generosity or my manners. You think I really know ANYTHING about you...or even that you think I base my ratios and factors based on stored memory banks??!!", he said. This was when he let his hands fall. What was witnessed was horrific. Under hanging pieces of skin was a human head....or so it seemed. Attached to it, replacing parts or even connecting parts was some of the most advanced robotics ever developped. He was something out of a Terminator movie, only more human.

"The K.Y.O.U. is designed to improve performance, not based on history, but on instant moments. What I know here, I learned here!! So whatever I know here will not be reflected on your weak pathetic "four years ago" version!", he finished before turning about and heading back to his original position. Taking one final bow, he added the finishing touch: "I parried as you commanded, Master! Have I amazed you yet?!"
PostPosted: Mon May 15, 2006 7:37 pm

Terrox watched in awe. He had certaintly underestimated his abilities and in fact, was somewhat jealous. It was quite a dazzling display. He was entertained by the impact of his attack though and was quite satisfied with his own strength. He listened to him and his rambling. He wasn't interested until his hands fell out. He opened his mouth in awe, Wow. That's... Disturbing, but with him as an opponent, I suppose that makes it satisfying. he examined his insides in a mix of awe and shock. It was safe to say he had never seen anything like it.

He said, "I didn't guess that... So you do know my every ability." he decided that with Kyou's stagnant attacking rate, there was no point in anticipating anything. He decided to make a head on assault. It was then that he dashed towards Kyou. He aimed his scythe to make a horizontal strike towards him.

He shouted, "But in any case, you can't read my mind, so my strategies'll never be moot!" he didn't apppear to be running nor hovering, but it was as though Terrox were ice skating. A small trail of snowflakes followed him as he went towards Kyou, ready to make a head on assault.

Kyou saw his coming. He glided across the floor like no friction got between him and his movements. Kyou quickly moved his hands to his katana, now sheathed, ready in an Iaijutsu stance, left hand on the hilt, right hand loose on the tsuka. Bending his knees down, he smiled at Terrox, who was expected to make a wide sweep with his weapon, a hard attack to stop solely because of the shape of the weapon. The best way of attack....get inside his range. With a quick dash forward at almost the last second, he got past the gigantic blade which would have severed something had he not moved. Now almost a few inches apart, Kyou pushed off the ground. He seemed to fly, although it was only a very high jump, or rather, a flip over Terrox. He landed smoothly.

"Looks like you got me a bit....you've got nice movements...", Kyou said as he showed his cut arm. Small droplets of blood spilled out of his tight black suit.

(I don't know what I should do here...so I'll just follow along since I'm not too creative at the time....)
