I've cosplayed as Ryo(u) Bakura before. 3nodding And I did it at work for Halloween last year! I'm thinking of this year cosplaying either as Mokuba or Seto, most likely I'll do Mokuba as I'm short. sweatdrop Oh, here's the picture (and I'm new here; so please help me "fit in").

Yeah, I thought it was a great idea and the only problem was I didn't have my Change of Heart card nor a duel disk, but it was lots of fun! blaugh

So the manager of the League is retiring and passing the torch to someone new, and we're having a Yu-Gi-Oh Tournament is on his last day. I voulenteer to wear my DMG cosplay for everyone. They would like that. Then I realize that this turnament is the day of a big event in my city in which half the town will walk by our shop and many, many strangers will see me. I suck it up and agree to do it anyway. Today, I'm informed that they're advertising this tournament in another city, too, so even MORE people can see me... joy...

I voulenteer to wear my DMG cosplay for everyone. They would like that. Then I realize that this turnament is the day of a big event in my city in which half the town will walk by our shop and many, many strangers will see me. I suck it up and agree to do it anyway. Today, I'm informed that they're advertising this tournament in another city, too, so even MORE people can see me... joy... That's hardcore! You'll be sort of famous around a whole herd or so of YGO TCGers.

there's 2 reasons why i don't cosplay
1) the character i would cosplay as is my fanfic character. since no one would know who he is, i'd rather not take most of my time explaining myself.
2) i'm too F***en lazy to acually come up with the costume. sure, you need to have time and effort and love into every work of art, but i don't have any of that in me after work.

For last MetroCon, I cosplayed Mokuba. My wig wasn't finished in time so I went without it, but I still got comments on my outfit. It made me feel kind of special! 4laugh
