Well, if we go visit the Law and Grace thread in the "Disciples of the Master" guild, we can only listen to hymns and psalms because that's the only music glorifying God... but I digress. I'm a fan of all kinds of music, but I'm partial to rock and metal. I like Demon Hunter, Underoath, Skillet, TFK, Disciple, Pillar, and Kutless. I've been known, however, to crank KJ-53, Third Day, Tobymac, Relient K, Hawk Nelson, Superchic[k], and dc Talk.

3.All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made."that means music too. NOT just hymns, NOT just classical, NOT just rock, NOT just swing, EVERYTHING. maybe some artists aren't the greatest, maybe some lyrics aren't the greatest, but the music God Himself made. how DARE you insult the Almighty's creation. yeah. i like all of those you mentioned. xd i like most everything as well, (except country... don't ask me why... i just don't really care for it) but i too am partial to rock, punk rock, and hard rock. i also like R&B, hiphop, and plenty more as well.

Agreed. I made the same argument to people who believe sex to be sinful, but that's not a topic for this thread. Perhaps I will repost my essay elsewhere, if there is interest.
