What do people think is the most common class and build, why?

I see alot of W/Mo running around. I never tried one. The one my brother has doesn't really appeal to me either. So I can't give a why. BUt pertaining to the topic and this post, what you think?

so i made a W/R combo its really comon but it effective in pvp.

Well.... W/Mo is one of the most flexible combonations in the game.
New players to Guild Wars can use it as a begining charachter.
And Guild Wars veterans can use it to its limit. Which makes the W/Mo combo really impresive.
For instance, imagine having great armor backed up by healing spells,protection spells,and tactics. You would soak up more damage than ever.
Also the W/Mo has a great combonation of smiting spells and the hammer mastery. So it would make a great anti-caster build.
(the W/Mo is also great for farming and runing lol)

Well hello I'm new here and love gw so I'll just jump right in. biggrin I don't really have a main character... so i'll explain all my chars and what i enjoy doing most with them.

20th level Ranger/XX (can reroll to anything came through as a monk) nowadays I mainly use him for b/p groups for underworld or occasional R-spike teams. He has every ranger skill in the game (including the 15 elites) so he can roll to anything and everything. And completely through the game cept the titan quests... blah.

20th level Warrior/xx (my 2nd war in my gw time this one came through as a ranger though first was a w/mo [to common/easy] w/r is getting to be the same :{ ) Currently working on this one Thunderhead Keep at the time of posting (w/mo was completely done upon deletion) current warrior can't reroll to anything as of yet but has the skills for some handy tankage.

20th level Necro/XX (can reroll to anything useful came thru as a monk) Envisioned him as a minion mancer this too is my 2nd character as I had a n/me first but deleted it. I mostly use blood on my current nec act as a battery or orders or whatever (in Ring of Fire mission most skills capped)

20th level Monk/XX (can reroll to anything useful here as well came through as a Mo/Me for energy management again a 2nd attempt as my first was a Mo/E who mainly healed/warded was fun) My new one like my old one has every monk skill in the game and can be used anywhere as anything... completely thru except for those pecky titan quests.

I've played for 12 months now and have at one time or another played everything. My most played character by far and away is/was my monks 500+ hours (1.4 mil exp) on the first I deleted and now 200+ hours (650kish) on my current monk.

I enjoy all aspects of the game pve/pvp/gvg. Left a guild and started a guild with my gf back in January and we are now actively recruiting (so if you wanted to get in a guild when they where just starting out heres your chance!). We have a site/forum/hall/cape... we are going to be sideing with the Luxons in factions for stated reasons on our forum/site (links in the guild sticky). If any of you guys are interested let me know on here or in game...

forgive my ignorance... but what do you mean by 'reroll'?

reroll means that I've done each of the nessecary "path quests" ... when you chose a secondary back in pre-ascalon you must stick with that as your secondary until after ascention...
(takes place in the crystal desert)

After that you can then go back to the following locations for the needed paths:
Destiny Gorge (mesmer, and warrior)
Hero's Audence (elementalist, and necromancer)
Seekers' Passage (monk, and ranger)

*Example* my monk was a mo/me.. so i needed to complete the other 4 path quests... in order to make my 2nd any of them I chose to. You can also change 2ndary as often as you like. There is no limit to the amount of times nor will you be "stuck" with something.

My necro uses monk secondary whenever she's being a minion master. Heal area is great for it!

that actually sounds like a good idea. A scheduled time al of us can get on GW at the same time and just get to know each other online in GW...

unfortuneately, I'm really sick. Been on quarters these lastcouple of days. (Got really far n KH2! I just beat the Pride Lands. I thought it was really cool running around as a cub. mrgreen )

I also have a level 20 A/Me named Kakashi Bob

Also have a lvl 7 N/Mo named Saber Bob

And also have a lvl 3 R/E in pre searing named Uchiha Bob (dont get on him much lol sweatdrop )
Also a lvl 9 D/N named Uzumaki Bob
