Tathy 16 "We have a lot of snaptrotter and janarim, both have burgeoning breeding programs, Snaptrotters happen to be my Dad's pet project. He has the main breeding male a bull called Myr who has been with him for a very long time." He decided right then and there that his lady friend would get an egg from one of the litters, he might as well get one too. She deserved to have a big toothy critter that could ward off silly bandits who had no business messing with her. She was a gem in the rough and deserved only the very best. She had enough injury and grief that was taking too long to heal, he would be going crazy too if he had been cosseted up in the healers hut for too long. "Never fear I will trot out the trotters for you they will love meeting a new face."

Talria 16 She let out a soft mewling sound. One that was a mimic of Pai's happiest sound, something she had started to do a while back. Pai echoed the sound as a confirmation. Talira giggled. "I look forward to meeting them all." She said softly to the male she was leaning into. She looked back to the horizon. "How long till we get to the Ranch?"

Tathy 17 His breath caught at the sound, how peculiar, perhaps it was because it was such a good imitation and working with beasts his whole life he understood what she meant. Hmmmm, was this what mom and dad had warned him of? Not that Dad had fought very hard against it and if anything he was in fact his father’s son. “Ahem, not long now it is a bit of a walk but all flat so we can take our time. I woulnt want you to strain the injury you have been so patient trying to heal, but I fo think it will go faster in a more organic family type setting and legend has it that Grandmas tea cures more than feelings.”

Talira 17 She smiled as they took their time walking. "It'll be nice to be in a warmer setting. That Healer's House was so...stuffy. I felt like they couldn't wait to get me out of there and either back in Belrea or just out in general. The whole reason I left Belrea was because my Grandpa didn't want me to be targeted by my attackers again. No one knew I left..." she felt like she was repeating herself but it just kept coming out. She was mad about it. Those bullies got what they wanted. Her gone. Now she was stuck in a new place and had a few tough choices to make. Should she stay here and avoid Belrea forever? "Eventually I'll have to go back." she said softly.

Tathy 18 “It was stuffy, no-one in my family would have been able to handle that for very long. “Apparently everyone returns home at some point except me, I never really left. So I expect my travelling is coming up at some point in the future. It might be fun to see new places but my hives are still young and need their caretaker.” He smiled fondly thinking of the bees. They were his close friend and he could always find them helping their Grandma in the garden. That was where he and they were happy. Plus the ranch had everything in a beautiful setting. “You do what you feel is right for you.”

Talira 18 She smiled. "Hives...oh your a Honey maker. I like Honey, beeswax is really good for some things." she hummed as she looked up to her new friend. "Thanks. This is the first time in a while that I've felt...okay with my injuries." She smiled softly. The statement was one that made her feel, for once…confident.

Tathy 19 She was so warm and beautiful and leaning into him and he thought he was the luckiest person ever to be here with her right then. There was no where else he woudl rather be. He had never been able to stop thinking about her with her fiery orange hair, trapped basically in that healer's complex that was boring even to look at. How was she supposed to get the fighting spirit to get better if her surroundings were so uninspiring. "We should be proud of our scars, they mean we survived." He turned his back to her and dropped his robe. "We uh stole a chiavi when we were not very big, i felt and the hook scraped my back. I fell into hay but I still have the scar." It was silvery with age now but it went from left shoulder to right hip down his back and would have hurt when it was done.

Talria 19 She gasped softly as she whined softly. Seeing that scar, reminded her of the still healing ones on her shoulder and hip. She reached out out of sheer instinct to stroke the fading scar gently. "We'll have similar scars soon." she muttered. "I was told that my shoulder and hip would have limited movement till I was done with life." The thought of not being able to use her rifle was a sad one. "You healed well."

Tathy 20 “I was small and flexible still, the wound looked a lot bigger on a small body. I didnt even get my bum paddled as they figured the wound had hurt quite more than any lesson they would be giving. I sure deserved it though.” He grinned unrepentant. “I still like flying.” He shivered at her touch she was tickling him just a bit. Though her touch was delicate and gentle her fingers cool. Brrrr. He flicked his lily covered shirt up again. “Scars remind us who we are in this case this one reminds me to use a saddle.” That was the only lesson he snickered.

She nodded. "Maybe you can help me navigate this new life that's ahead for me...I know I'll have to figure out how to fire a rifle again." she hummed as she looked to him. "Perhaps that will lead to a new invention. I know plenty of older marksmen who are put out by being scarred in some way." She smiled as Pai pranced in mid-air to settle on her shoulder. "He's showing off now." she looked up to watch the small beast. "Come on, lets get home."
She was looking forward to this new chapter of her life. With a good friend at either side and the bright hope ahead of her.
