The request should not have come as a surprise by any means, but Ergon still found himself pausing to let the concept sink in. In all of his imaginings, he hadn't put that much thought into what his parents would be doing. Instinct knew that at least his mother would want to be involved, but the lessons of time had made him unconsciously doubt the viability of such a normal concept. Had he just assumed they wouldn't be part of the setting up process..?
"No, I do not mind at all. I am sure she would love that," he said with a heavy smile. He couldn't stop himself from wondering.. could they possibly be lucky enough to have his mother clear and aware on their special day? "Don't let her boss you around though," he teased, trying to lighten the mood of his mind, "because this day is for you."

She figured her own mother would love to be involved as well. A letter would need to be sent to let her parents and twin brother know about the upcoming event. Riya could just see her mother appearing out of nowhere for it. When she looked up at Ergon and saw the slightly off smile he was giving she reached up to cup his face with both hands. "Hey.. its alright." Iriyana knew about his mother but she never judged or held it against anyone. If she lost a child she might end up the same way, who knew? "I won't let her boss me around, but I will let her take me shopping. She enjoys that kind of thing." His mother was more of a society girl than Riya was. "And are we sure this day is for me? I thought it was for you. You know, so you can keep me forever." She had to tease him back a little.

His smile managed to lighted the slightest bit, and he turned his head to press a kiss to Riya's palm. "I have no doubt she will have more fun than you care for. She will love having you try on every expensive bit of cloth she can find." Ergon had to chuckle at the thought. Wouldn't it be a treat to see Iriyana dressed to kill in a luxurious fur gown with all the trimmings?
Brow rising at her question, he laughed more and tightened his hug around her. "Yes, but I am obviously getting the best end of the deal. I need to make sure you feel like you are getting something good out of this."

The kiss to her palm melted her heart. Riya loved when he did sweet things like that. Her gaze softened as she looked at him and a true smile tugged at her lips. She had wanted to tease him a bit more but that action alone had caused her to be like putty in his hands. With him tightening the hug she buried her head into his neck and simply sighed contently. "I am getting the thing of my dreams, don't worry." Being with him was what she'd always wanted. It was why she was in Zena and the rest of her family was in Sauti, aunts and uncles not included. "You are giving me a future with you and that is the best thing you could have possibly given me."

Ergon's cheeks couldn't stop the heat of happiness from rising even if he had tried.. Having Riya snuggling so close just felt right... Good thing she had allowed him time to clean up first! With his grin falling into a more content little smile, he closed his eyes and turned his jaw to rest against Riya's hair. Honestly, he felt like he could just stay like this all night. There was much to plan and do.. but even he could let himself pause to savor the moment. "You spoil me when you talk like that," he mused lightly.

With him resting against her she closed her eyes. Iriyana could officially say that she was very content with where she was. Hearing him say that she spoiled him with the ways she spoke she chuckled and peeked her eyes open at him. "Oh? Should I stop then?" If he wanted her to she could, though it would be very hard. She lifted one hand up so that she could thread her fingers through his hair and play with it. Riya loved his hair, especially when he had bed head. It made him look adorable.

The offer to stop had Ergon shaking his head. "Mmm, I certainly was not complaining," he assured with a chuckle. He subtly cocked his head to meet and encourage the wandering fingers that felt so good in his hair. He hadn't been too sure about his decision to let it grow out a little bit, but the small change was evidently worthwhile when Riya was being so attentive. "I would not mind at all if you continued, either," he added on playfully.

"No?" She asked with a chuckle. "I would hate for you to become a spoiled brat." Riya noticed that he tilted his head to allow her hands to reach better into his hair. Clearly that was enjoyable so she didn't stop. With his hair getting longer it gave her more to play with when they got to spend time together. "You will have longer hair than before too long. It might even be there now." She smiled at him. "I like it though." Her head lifted away from him, slowly to ensure she didn't hurt his chin resting against her, and looked at him. With her hand still in his hair she stole a kiss from him. "Can I convince you to let me take you to the bedroom to celebrate? I loved dinner, I adore the greenhouse, and I am completely in love with my fiancé." Calling him that just made her feel giddy.

"Perhaps just a little spoiled will be alright?" Not that he needed spoiling, but he was certainly not one to turn down an ego boost here and there! He shifted when he felt Riya moving, and readily leaned into the sweet kiss. Imagine... here he was, kissing his fiancé! It was finally a reality. Could this day get any better?
Well... maybe it could. As much as Riya liked calling him her fiancé, he loved hearing it. One hand rose so that he could brush his fingers along Riya's jaw tenderly. "Hmm. If anyone could convince me, it would be you," he mused, leaning in for another kiss.

She chuckled at him saying he could be a little spoiled. She had to agree there. Iriyana enjoyed spoiling him. After all it meant no other woman could and he wouldn't leave. She didn't think she had to worry about such a thing but everyone had some insecurities. The bush against her jaw made her lean her head slightly into his touch. Riya didn't stop him from getting another kiss either. The man was about to be fairly showered in affection for how happy she was. After the kiss she grinned at him then lead the way toward their bedroom. "This way then, my dear fiancé." Riya kept hold of his hand and pulled him steadily closer. "I should like to spoil you a little." Once they got to the room she pulled him inside and shut the door.
