Tempest the Zorua Great and sorry i took a little bit. I was trying to find a good pic to show what Criss looks like   Raven the Rogue
&
Criss Criss sat up, feeling Cynder nudge him. "What is it girl?" he asked before hearing the knock again. He knew it couldn't be Raven, because she had a key. He got out of bed, put on a shirt and made his way yo the door. When he opened it, he saw the head of the DOA standing there. 'Crap.' he thought simply as he put a small smile on his face. "Hello there can i help you?" he asked calmly.
Meanwhile Raven was just entering town on the horse that the merchants had so graciously let her keep along with a few items that were strapped to the horse's saddle.

"I've just come to see if the permit you've applied for has arrived yet." The head of the Association said before he saw Cynder peeking out from the bedroom. "My she has certainly grown." He said smiling at her. Cynder pulled her head back into the bedroom and went underneath the bed, not wanting to leave her mommy and daddy. Usually by now, though, she would be on her own and would know how to fly.

Tempest the Zorua (Sorry it's taken me so long to reply sweatdrop *hugs*) Raven the Rogue
&
Criss Criss looked over his shoulder at Cynder just as she went back into their bedroom, and smiled sadly. "Yes, she has grown quite a bit since the last time you saw her." he said hearing a horse neigh and hooves coming towards the house. Raven once home, she hopped off the horse and tied it to a tree near a water through by their house. Seeing the head of the association talking to Criss, she mentally cursed in her mind as she walked over to them. "Hey i'm back. Hello sir, i'm guessing you're here to see if we have that permit to keep Cynder." she said putting on a smile as she shook his hand and allowed him to come inside after her and Criss stepped into the house. Criss led him to the living room to talk, while Raven went into the bedroom to see if Cynder was in there. "Well sir about that permit, we haven't gotten it yet." Criss admitted, while Raven tried to coax Cynder from under the bed, still surprised every time she was able to get under there.

Cynder eventually came out when she saw Raven and snuggled up to her mommy happily. The head of the DOA sighed "I know you're doing everything you can, but time is running out. All I can give you is one more month, after that she'll have to go to a dragon sanctuary until you can get the permit." He said wishing he could let Cynder stay here longer without the permit. Cynder heard this but she didn't think they were serious, so she jumped onto the couch between Raven and Criss, before she lay against Raven, almost like a dog would.

Tempest the Zorua (*hugs* Sorry i took so long to reply. And how are you feeling?) Raven the Rogue
&
Criss Raven smiled and pet Cynder, before walking back into the living room and sitting on the sofa with Criss hearing what the head of DOA said. "Thank you." Raven said just as Cynder jumped onto the sofa between her and Criss. "We really appreciate you doing this. We really are doing what we can, although it's more just a waiting game at this point."Criss said as he took Raven's hand in his own and they petted Cynder with their other hands.

The head of the DOA nodded and said "I won't keep you anymore. Just let me know as soon as you get your permit. I don't want to have to take Cynder away as she looks very healthy and happy." Before he left, meaning what he said. Cynder's tail started to wag as both her mommy and daddy pet her. She was a big baby around them that it was hard to imagine her hurting anyone. Well on purpose anyway.

Cynder hid behind Criss as the DOA director said "You're welcome." Before leaving them to their business. Cynder looked at Criss with a worried look in her eyes. She didn't want to be taken from her mommy and daddy. She let out a worried roar before she nudged Criss' hand, and sat before him, not wanting the DOA to take her away. She was very happy with Raven and Criss.

Cynder's tail wagged as she was hugged. She had some snuggle time with Raven and Criss before she fell asleep in Criss's lap. She was curled up, like a cat, next to him with her head on his leg. Her wings were tucked against her back as she stayed snuggled up to her daddy. She always loved her snuggle time with either of them, but she had a feeling that something was going to happen to the permit they were after. Something that would cause her to have to leave.

Criss Criss and Raven sat there and tried to relax after the DOA left. They soon relaxed once Cynder was asleep next to them. Criss petted Cynder's head as she slept, his other arm around Raven, who's head was on his shoulder, "Don't worry, babe. I'm sure we'll get this permit in time," Criss said gently rubbing her arm. "I hope so, I really don't want to have to give her up." Raven said reaching over and gently petting Cynder's head. "I don't think any of us want that." Seto said. They both watched Cynder as she slept, hoping that they'd be able to get the permit in time, but considering how long it was already taking, they were secretly losing hope they wouldn't be able to get it within the next month.
~~~~One month later~~~~
It was the night before the DOA was possibly coming to take Cynder away since they still didn't have the permit required to keep her, despite that they felt like they were just so close to getting it. They had given Cynder an extra bit of attention during the month after Raven had done a week long mission. They were all now relaxing on a blanket in the living room, letting Cynder lay down between them as they pet her and sang a few songs while Criss played his guitar.

Cynder nuzzled her mommy's hand as she lay between her parents on the blanket while Criss played his guitar. She loved when they would do this, even when she was a baby she loved it. She had no idea that tomorrow, she would be taken to a sanctuary, if the permit didn't come in the mail. If it didn't come by the end of the day, she would be taken to a dragon sanctuary until it did. Though sometimes dragon owner's, despite having gotten the permit, didn't get their dragons back, or it took years before they could. She then lay her head in Raven's lap, as they sang songs and listened to Criss playing. She had to wonder why they seemed so sad tonight though. Cynder was a smart dragon and knew when things were not quite right around her. She nudged Raven wanting to know why he looked like she wanted to cry. Cynder knew that things would work out in the end.

Tempest The Dusk Lycanroc Sorry i took so long, and i'll possibly edit this one to look like the other posts later. Raven looked down at Cynder and hugged her sniffling as she continued to hug her. Criss slowly stopped playing and placed his guitar to the side and gently stroked Raven's hair while she hugged Cynder. They both knew that the permit wasn't coming tonight and possibly not tomorrow either. "We love you Cynder no matter what. Remember that." Raven said kissing Cynder's head. Criss covered all of them with a nice warm blanket, and laid down with them after putting pillows for them all to lay their heads on. Criss wiped Raven's eyes and began to sing softly to her and Cynder as they hugged Cynder for what they knew what be their last night together as a family.

Cynder let out a sad roar like noise as she nuzzled Raven not wanting to leave them at all. When morning came around, Cynder could tell something was up. They had until the mail came to receive their permit. It was on its way but was delayed because of the weather in the mountains. Though it was due to come today, there wasn't much time left and no one had seen the mail today. Meanwhile, Cynder knew something was up, and was snuggled with Raven and Criss looking sad as she was sensing they were really upset. She refused to move from her spot on the blanket, and had since last night when she fell asleep. She was curled up in a tight ball, trying to make it hard to get her to leave the only home she'd ever known. Plus she wasn't really feeling too well, even though she wasn't showing any signs of it. She had made a small nest like the one she had as a baby, out of the blankets and pillows that were around her watching Raven and Criss.
